The manager is extremely rude, although we booked a table over the phone while we had relatives from The Netherlands and although we exlained we are regular customers, he rudely refused to let us in claiming the booking didn't exist, and he doesn't care if we are regular customers or not. when we asked about a manager to speak to, it was the surprise that it was he himself. I have a hotel business and I always recommend this restaurant; however I will never pop in or recommend it any longer to my guests to avoid experiencing the unacceptable and rude way of treatment. read more

My husband and I went to the Cafe de China in Margate for the first time yesterday as we normally go to the Cafe de China in Canterbury which has always been fantastic quick service and very fresh and tasty food. Our experience in Margate was not good at all as the taste of the seafood was odd so I didn't eat it - unfortunately my husband did and he was violently ill later that night. We will never go back to that restaurant as the food quality is terrible with the unfresh seafood and a lot of food was overcooked until crunchy and unrecognisible as meat. read more

i love it there the food is always really nice its cooked freash for you unline other places where it is out on the side all night.The staff are always helpful and friendly i have been going there for years and have never has a problem booked a table for my dads 50th and went eirly and covred the place in bloones and decorations and they didnt mind it really is a nice place to go. food 5* service 5* my fave place to eat out eva xx read more

Ah heaven! I'm really surprised at the couple of bad reviews on here. We can't say that for the last 7/8 yrs that we have been eating here on a monthly basis had a bad experience. Service is superb and friendly, food is fresh, hot and arrives quickly, drinks are a little pricey which can knock the bill up. But then I expect that we an all you can eat. have to say that this restaurant (if you can call it that) is most definately NOT the place to dine out, the service is terrible, the staff hardly speak a word of english between them, and you feel like you are being forced to rush your meal. can catergorically say that i will never, ever be going there again!!! read more

Eaten in this restaurant twice now. The food is well cooked and tasty. The ribs in sauce are great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Good value lunch menu. We are definitely going back. Great view over the sea. read more

All you can eat buffet bought fresh to you as you order not sat in food warmers like some all you can eat buffets! Always great food and service excellent value :o) read more
