I've seen this coffee shop all over my timeline and it is close to my house so I had to try it. This shop is never busy when I go and parking is always a breeze. I've ordered the smoked salmon toast, Iced Taro Latte and Vanilla Chai Latte. The Vanilla Chai Latte was definitely my favorite, the smoked salmon toast was also really good and the ingredients were so fresh. A lot of the drinks they offer are not on the menu so I had to do a little digging on their instagram and Yelp reviews. This is the cutest coffee shop, it is small on the inside but they also have a small outdoor dining area as well. The staff is always super nice and helpful. I've been following Cafe Comma on Instagram for a while, but I never had the chance to stop by since it's a bit far from where I live. Luckily I was in the area last week, so I finally had the chance to try it out! There's a few parking spots in front of the store and there's also a parking garage next to it if you can't find parking in front! I'm not sure if the parking garage is paid or not since I lucked out and found a parking spot in front. They only allow 8 people in the store at a time, but the lines move pretty quick (especially since many people choose to dine outside or just take their goods to go). I ordered the matcha green tea latte and the avocado toast. The matcha green tea latte is amazing here - there's the perfect amount of sweetness and I would definitely order it again. The avocado toast was also delicious - there's also a small side "salad" of some greens (I think kale..?) with some balsamic dressing which was amazing. I wasn't sure about the red pepper flakes on top of the avocado toast at first since I'm not the biggest fan of spicy food, but surprisingly it went very well with the avocado toast and wasn't too spicy for me (and this is coming from the girl with the weakest spice tolerance). The avocado toast here is on the higher end price wise, but I think it's worth getting. I'll definitely be returning in the near future to try some of their other drinks and toasts! read more

This is a super cute coffee shop with select food & pastry options. I went with my bf and we shared the following: avocado toast, smoked salmon toast, charcoal coconut latte, and espresso tonic. We loved the charcoal latte--no idea what it really is, but it's GOOD. Recommend 200%. The toasts were really good too. They're pricey but you get what you pay for. Generous and fresh toppings. The avocado toast could use slightly more salt. Arugula salad that came with both was a good touch. The only thing we didn't like was the espresso tonic. We thought we'd like it bc we like espresso, and we like sparkling/carbonated drinks, but this was a miss. It was too citrusy and sweet, but not in a way in which we liked. Nonetheless, we loved this place and only wish it was closer. They have outdoor seating which is a huge plus during these times. Sweet little spot with a cool vibe My order was simple: cold brew with pistachio cream, no ice. My 'go-to coffee drink is a nitro cold brew, black. Since they didn't serve Nitro, I added the pistachio cream for froth. It was delicious. Ended up ordering another cold brew to finish off the pistachio cream with (yep, there was that much left over ). No complaints here, though.... Just another excuse for another 'brew. I wouldn't come here again for a few reasons. The staff here gave me the vibe that they were annoyed by having a customer because it interrupted their convo. Also the experience was very impersonal. I didn't like the drink and it was quite costly at almost $5 for a hot cocoa. Also the seating situation was quite cold. Not a warm coffee shop experience at all. There are some wooden benches with small tables. I don't think this is really the place to meet up with a friend to talk or stay to work on your laptop. Also the parking was a bit strange. There's 15 min parking in front and you have to exit through the parking deck no matter what. I wouldn't be back. This is really just a grab and go type spot and maybe that's enough for some people, but it's not really my preference with coffee shops. read more

TLDR: super chic vibe with aesthetic drinks and food I went to Cafe Comma today and it was a super chic, sleek, modern-looking cafe. Everything felt very clean and they do have some outdoor seating if your prefer that with the current COVID environment. Upon entering, the baristas are incredibly friendly and make the overall customer experience great. I got the Caramel Creme drink iced and as expected, it was very aesthetic and beautiful-looking. The only thing i have to say about it is that it is DEFINITELY on the sweet side (given that it is caramel) so in the future, I would probably ask to either make the drink less sweet or get another drink. My boyfriend got the hot chocolate (which I think is just okay - I think it'd probably be best to stick to some of their specialty or coffee drinks). Don't typically venture to the westside, but we were over here hiking and decided to drop by this place (I'm partial to any where that cares about grammar). It was their grand opening weekend and they didn't disappoint. My wife and I both tried one of their speciality drinks. My wife got the charcoal coconut latte and I tried the black sugar latte. Both were delicious and very well made. If you're not a fan of iced drinks I would recommend checking with them before you order any of their speciality drinks to ensure that it comes hot. Newly opened in Vinings and glad I came to try. The toasts were all so delicious and making me want to try all of the other toasts. Clean and modern feel to the cafe. Cafe is a little small is size but there are tables outside as well. Ordered iced matcha latte since I had coffee prior to the visit here but I wished I ordered a coffee drink because matcha latte was a little weak for my taste. Too much of milk taste rather than the bitter matcha taste. I would definitely return and try other drink and food options. Toasts are definitely a must try. This place deserves a very high 3. Admittedly I haven't tried the coffee yet but the place smells great. I've had their toast options a few times and have been extremely impressed by their flavor. However, the toast is very overpriced which is why I can't give them a 4. What I appreciate the most about this place is there is absolutely no politics which is smart business. I decide to try a new place instead of getting my usual order out breakfast and StarB's. I had the Yuzu and ricotta toast with a Sugar Free Caramel Latte with Taro cream on top. The toast was something different for me since I only get Avocado toast. They a a number of toast options and I've decided to try them all. The ricotta cheese was a little heavy for my the flavors were amazing. I sprinkled on the balsamic arugula that comes with it and it compliments the sweetness and the preserve and saltiness of the cheese nicely. The star of this order was the latte by far. This is a new coffee spot in the Vinings area. The shop has a modern feel that is very inviting. Something that I feel is needed for the area. They have unique beverages that you will not find at the chain coffee spots. I tried the black sugar latte at the recommendation of the cashier who had great customer service. Went here yesterday to meet a friend for socially distant coffee date. They are closed for indoor dining but have a patio with 5-6 tables each with 2 chairs. There's plenty of parking available in front and in the parking deck behind the building. The space is very clean and modern with a lot of plants and natural lighting so it gives a really relaxing vibe. I ordered the Charcoal Coconut Latte and smoked salmon toast, both of which were absolutely delicious! I decided to stop by before work to try this little coffee shop out. There's 15 minute parking in front if you're just picking up and a parking deck if you want to sit and chat. The interior was clean and modern. There is a seating area that has 2 tables, so it's pretty small inside. I saw at least one table outside that someone was doing work at. The workers were upbeat and seemed enthusiastic. I originally wanted to try the Black Sugar Latte but they were out for the week. I asked the worker for a recommendation and ended up with the Deep Cacao. If you like sweet coffee and chocolate, then you'll love this. The only real complaint I have about it was the cocoa powder on the top was kinda thick and I choked on it a little bit. Pretty sure that can be fixed with a coffee stirrer but I forgot to grab one. Otherwise I loved my drink! But also keep in mind that I'm not the biggest coffee drinker. The pastries in the display cases looked nice and fresh, so I'll probably pick one up next time. I usually ask for less sweetener because some places add too much sugar for my liking but this place did it right. Now onto the food. You MUST try the different kinds of toast here. Best avocado toast I think I've ever had. Toast was light,airy but very thick. Lots of avocado and chiles/salt went perfectly. Much better than places which just give a piece of Wonder white bread and guacamole. Would definitely return and will try the coffee! Me and my friend chose this coffee shop because we wanted a nice coffee in a glass coffee cup to enjoy in the cafe as there were pictures included on the website that they had in cafe cups. I absolutely loved Café Comma, when I recently stopped in for a visit! Having just landed from the airport and headed north, I was in need of some good coffee and food, and found that Café Comma had just what I was looking for. Upon entering, I felt right at home with a friendly face greeting me and answering some of my questions, and I liked the chill vibes of this coffee shop, a bit of a clean industrial design. Inside there were a couple of solid wood benches to sit at, with a few C-Side tables, and there were outdoor tables and chairs set up outside. I ordered a Honey Lavender Latte and Fresh Avocado Toast with the add on hard boiled egg. The coffee was delicious, they serve East Pole Coffee out of Atlanta, and the avocado toast was fabulous! I would have found it easier to eat, and preferred it, if the avo toast was served on a real plate instead of a paper food tray, because I like to eat it with a fork and knife, and it's quite difficult to cut on the tray they served it on, that would be my only complaint. The Fresh Avocado Toast was plated beautifully and left me feeling very satisfied, perhaps one of the best I've had at a coffee shop, and they have plenty of other toast options on the menu that I would like to try next time, mix it up a little. The service was great, the shop was clean, and the coffee and food was perfect here at Café Comma! For some reason I was expecting this cafe to be a cute standalone shop with ample seating, but it was the opposite. Seating is limited + uncomfortable and the environment felt a bit sterile, so definitely not great for getting work done. Baristas were not the most friendly either. The coffee itself was decent, but we got a slice of the lemon pound cake and it was the worst piece of cake I've ever eaten, it reminded me of eating a Twinkie :/ It's not a bad place to run in and grab something to-go, but definitely not comparable to most cafes in the Atlanta area. This is an interesting coffee spot. It's small and quaint and aesthetically pleasing. There isn't much seating. I tried two coffees and the avocado Toast. The lavender coffee was just okay in my Opinion ; however when I went back and added the cold foam it added a hint of sweetness that helped a bit but not much. I could barely taste the lavender and the 75 cent up charge for the tiny bit of cold foam is quite a scam but I get it. The charcoal coffee was just ok too. I think these coffees look pretty however, the taste for me doesn't really do it for me. Finally the avocado toast was just ok it would have benefited from a Pickled onion on top. The avocado was so bland however I placed the arugula that it comes with on top which has a light balsamic dressing that helped to boost the flavor of the avocado Toast. Walked in and was not greeted by the staff. One stared at me and the other two were too busy talking to each other. When I asked if they had bottled water, the cashier responded rudely that they only had boxed water. I also watched them hand the wrong food to a guest, and once they figured it out, they took it back and gave it to the right person. They probably should have just made a fresh order smh. I've tried a couple times and tried a couple different coffees and wasn't a fan (matcha and a latte). Also, the last time I went I wanted to make a TikTok/Reel and the barista yelled at me! When I create content I never film anyone's face. Especially at a coffee shop I only do the hands because it's all about the coffee. She was ringing me up and I was filming the other barista make my matcha because it was beautiful and the woman ringing me up yells obnoxiously "ARE YOU FILMING ME?!!!!!" I calmly answered her no and she continued to yell repeating herself causing a scene. I grabbed my coffee and asked what the managers name and she whispered it where I couldn't here and rolled her eyes and walked away. Very embarrassing experience.
