I've been here twice now and will go again and update my review. The woman behi d the cou te is…read morevery friendly and the place looks clean and stylish but I think in what the owner thinks is Swedish or maybe this is how a smart cafe looks in Lebanon, I cant say because I've never been. It's pleasant, looking onto the square and lots of natural light. First time we had the wraps. It was a good sized roll and we had the shawarna with shredded baked chicken. It was tasty, with crunchy pickles, lettuce, cabbage, a choice of sauces but I picked babaganoush. The combination of salty, crunchy, savory was good but not like any other shawarma I've had in Sweden or the US, it also is spelled with a n not m, so I began to wonder if there are different regions and culinary differences or if I've been eating westernized generic versions of Lebanese food or if this was their interpretation of their food for Swedes. I also dislike the processed chicken you find everywhere in Sweden, it looks and tastes like chicken spam, the flesh is smooth like a fish cake from the water, salt and sugar they add to it, so to my tastebuds it loses the flavor and aroma of a real chicken. But an entire generation has grown up with this chicken, so I think it's just me who thinks chicken doesn't taste like chicken anymore. The second time we went for lunch. The lentil soup looked and smelled great. It was good, but very sour and strongly citrusy taste so I couldn't eat all of my soup. A small cup was actually just enough, but again, it wasnt the flavors I was expecting even if it was good. My friend's pirogi was tasty he says but he was disappointed because it was a bread almost pizza dough not the fluffy fried or baked bread he and I were familiar with. The spinach was also different, looked more like an omelette than the chopped and pressed spinach and cheese mix we were expecting. My 4 mezze was tasty, there was the usual hummus, babaganoush and a roasted red pepper based couscous and a tomato based vegetable mix with homemade pitas bread....as much as you wanted. In portion, color, texture and taste it was satisfying and in my case 2 new dishes (forgot names) it was a plus. The dessert tray was tasty, but not as sticky dripping sweet as you can get at the Arab markets here but that is not a bad thing. So I give this place a 4 star even if we didnt get what we expected. I'm going to try their falafel and kebabmeat next time and update this review if it should go up or down. I dont like Swedish restaurants that dont use real meat, some use a kind of pressed meat, Swedish spam? That they cut off the rotisserie, it makes it cheaper, but I prefer to eat real flesh if I am eating meat. Otherwise I'll usually order vegetarian. Oh yes, prices are ok, 99kr for dinner platter, 79kr for a wrap, mese platter 4 for 79kr, 6 for 99kr and 8 for 129kr

The selection is enough to be satisfied. The only thing missing is OJ and decent bread, which is a shame since they bake their own! The buffet is SEK 89 - add another 20 and you get thin pancakes. They have "kaviar" to the egg. Free copy of local paper GP! Free wifi. Wednesdays at 4 they have afternoon tea which looks nice. Never tried it though. They have a nice backyard for outdoor seating. They accept AMEX.

It is large - but it still manages to be cosy, which is amazing. There's tons of seating so even when it's busy you can find a spot, but there are also several rooms and even little alcoves so you can still find a spot that feels like you're tucked away on your own. I haven't tried the outdoor seating but I appreciate that they have it! I am a total breakfast addict and I love the fact that they have breakfast menus every day. I ordered the scone menu one day and loved it - they bake everything themselves and the scone was grainy, dark, and satisfying. I also highly recommend the Moroccan green tea blend. The décor is absolutely delightful. I love the bright, sunny colors and the cushions and blankets everywhere. The little sun logo on the cups makes me happy. The bathrooms are clean and the wifi is free. Personally I would definitely rather go here than just another Espresso House or Wayne's. They've got snacks and delicious lunches too - try it!
