Perks of this bar i would have to say is the Owner speaks English, has free wifi (which is very rare) and the bar man knows how to pour a good Guinness. Like almost everywhere in a local french bar, it is not a place you can easily meet new people a mingle. It's a hangout spot for the local barber or the shopkeeper down the street and a place for college students to meet and hang. There was something hilarious to being an American and traveling to France and then ending up in an Irish pub that felt like millions of Irish pubs in America. Nevertheless, it was exactly what we needed. It's an intimate pub where you can have a good conversation which is what we were looking for. I appreciated their non-alcoholic options as well. A part of me wonders if this could have been an old medieval tavern as well, which is something Strasbourg seems to have a few of, except that the bar, and the building, do seem to come across as quite new. Anyway, despite the building being rather new, I still liked the pub.
