The ingredients are top quality, the presentation is very carefully designed, tve flavours wonferfully original. In addition, clients receive a warm welcome in a nicely situated and furnished dining room. Bonus : they offer to make their starters as main dishes too, which is helpful for people like me who always find starters more inventive than main courses on the menu !

We arrived here after snowboarding and apparently after sitting down, they said they don't serve…read morethe fondue until 6:30pm. So we said we'd come back in half an hour and moved our car closer as it was freezing. Apparently this place is the Go-To place for Fondue and gets pretty freaking busy. There were already tables reserved with pieces of paper on the table when we got there. Crazy right? We sat down again after coming back and decided to get drinks as it's apparently frowned upon if you just ask for water. We opted for hot tea (Lipton Yellow Label for 3.60 Swiss Francs). Then we ordered the mushroom fondue (Fondue aux bolets - 27-ish Swiss Francs). The bill for the drinks came in this tiny bucket. Apparently at the end they take this and add it to what you've ordered in terms of food. I guess it's in case you want more drinks or more food then they can keep track as they probably get busy. The bread first came out and then the melty pot of hot cheesy goodness. The cheese was a bit on the salty side and very gooey initially. The bread complimented it very well. After a while, the cheese got to a thick almost mozzerella-ish consistency which meant eat fast otherwise it's going to be hard. The bill was a bit weird though...or more like how we got change. The waiter went to a purse and pulled out a wallet where he got change. I guess it's the owner's but it's like they don't have a cash register at all, just something that totals bills. Pretty interesting... For my first cheese fondue, it was delicious. It would definitely be a treat once in a while.

I loved the best bite of the night with 62degree egg in the middle of different colorful purees and covered with lots of black truffles. My main plate of lamb was tender and tasty boosted by citrusy flavor dots. A few bottles of wine, cheese plate, and creme caramel dessert rounded out a luxurious night. Go if you have a chance! However, for a McDonald's - this is one hell of an epic design! Located on the site of one of Geneva's best 'old school' italian, which unfortunately went out of business, this is a prime location if visiting the Hockey or Clubbing around the area. There is graffiti painted walls, a good selection of music playing and its all done within a rather small space. The staff are a mixture of old and new, the food is served quick and fresh and the overall design is great. Will certainly use this McDonald's more often when I'm looking after the step-sisters :)
