We chose the ELITE package which comes with a personal photographer, access to a dressing room, where you can do hair and make up. Horrible experience The whole photo shoot was mismanaged from beginning to end. It took a whopping 5 hours and some of the photographers were just so disengaged it was just so very very sad. We were told we could add on a scene for $20 and get a few more pictures that we liked. We never got those pictures. When we were ready to check out and my senior was begging me to take all the pictures for a hefty $999 then I was told that I was already charged this amount upon check in. Nice one. I have no words for this and I can't believe Cady can run a shady business like this. I hope some parents will read this and will not fall into the trap as me. read more

Zero stars! Do not recommend. Some of the photographers for my daughter seemed to be in training. Photo shoot took soooo long - with some wait time in between each scene. The cherry on top is the OUTRAGEOUS pricing. Complete and total rip off. They charge ~$1100 for the digitals (including cap and gown). No prints no nothing. Cautionary Tale for Parents Using Cady Studio for Senior Pictures I wanted to share my experience so other families can avoid the same frustration I went through. I booked what Cady advertised as their "most popular" $129 package. Online it looked like it included extra studio scenes and at least one digital image. Naturally, I assumed I'd be able to walk away with at least one digital image without spending a fortune. Here's the reality: * The so-called "free" digital image only comes if you buy a much larger package. * If you want all of your child's digital images, the price is a staggering $1,000. * And that $1,000 doesn't even include the cap-and-gown photo. If you want that one, it's another $150 on top. What really shocked me is that friends who booked the cheaper $59 package were able to buy 15 digital images emailed to them for about $250 total. Meanwhile, I wasn't even given the option to do that because I had booked the "better" package. When I asked, they told me I couldn't switch or get the same deal -- which made absolutely no sense. In the end, the upgrade actually worked against me. The whole thing feels like a total scam. You commit to these portrait sessions without being told how much the packages actually cost. Then, depending on your session, they arbitrarily assign pricing, which makes no sense and feels designed to confuse families and extract as much money as possible. On top of that, Cady requires another $50 deposit after your session, which I'm still trying to get refunded. Parents, please read the fine print very carefully before booking. Don't assume packages are straightforward or that digital images are included. Call and ask detailed questions so you know exactly what you're committing to. And here's the kicker--they even offer payment plans for their photo packages. That alone should tell you just how outrageously expensive they are. I am beyond frustrated with Cady and the way they handled my son's senior year photos. First of all, the school forces us to use this company for the yearbook photos, and they charge an outrageous price for a service that barely meets the minimum standards. They bombard you with overpriced packages and push unnecessary photos on you, which feels like a cash grab. All I needed was the basic package to ensure my son's yearbook photo was taken, but even that was a hassle. We had to drive 20 minutes just to get to their studio and pay $10 for the bare minimum package. Since my son has acne, and this photo would be in the yearbook forever, I paid an extra $19 for something called the "Artis Touch" retouch service. I assumed this would include facial touch-ups to improve the appearance of his acne. When we received the photos, I was shocked to see that nothing had been retouched on his face. His acne was still very visible. I called Cady to ask when the retouch would happen, thinking it may occur after the photo selection. To my surprise, they told me that the retouch only includes the background and lighting adjustments. This was never clearly explained on their website, and honestly, it feels like a scam. Adjusting lighting and background is basic to any professional photo--it is not a "Retouch" or how they called it an "Artist Retouch" that worth 19 dollars... We had the best time! It was so much fun to try different backgrounds, poses and accessories. The facility is very spacious and well equipped. We were greeted warmly by the staff and they helped us bring in the clothes and props from our car. Our photographer Juan has an artistic eye and a great understanding of lighting, color and how to pose - giving great instructions and assistance to get the best shots. He was ever so patient, kind and wise, making us feel very comfortable instead of stiff and nervous. The manager Travis played great music for us to get us in the right mood to shine. Cady - Session Photography Near Me - Miramar, Florida

Came here with my sister last year and the experience was so different than when I came for mine this year. You pay hundreds for the studio session and then extra if you want to actually buy the pictures. On top of that last year we had to specifically request the unedited photos because the ones they sent are so over edited that it didn't even look like my sister. I will likely have to do the same for my own pictures this year if I buy them. There were far more people last year, which admittedly made it a slower process but also gave you the ability to borrow inspiration from other people taking pictures, and more people to interact with. Last year they had attendants for parents and students, and we specially requested Ryan because of how sweet and helpful he was, only to be told that they did away with that position all together leaving us only with the photographers. Most of the photographers aren't nearly as personable and make little effort to connect with you it's such a shame. If you have to go through Cadys for your senior pictures try to request Tamar as she's the only one there who made us feel the same level of personal care that we felt last year. read more

I booked my High School Senior's Picture session online and it was super easy and self explanatory. We made it to the studio about 40 minutes earlier than our scheduled time and were called in as soon as we checked with the front desk. I booked two studio scenes, yearbook and cap and gown sessions. The two studio scenes were done by the same photographer. He was amazing! Very patient, great tips and took amazing shots. Once they were ready to do yearbook shots, they provided white collar shirt, bowtie, and tuxedo jacket for the pictures. These pictures were taken by a different photographer and once again, he was wonderful. Last session was the cap and gown shoot. They again provided a white shirt, tie, and the cap and gown and without a doubt, this photographer was amazing. As they took the shots, I was able to see them on a bigger screen and was able to ask for retakes if thought were needed. I was very pleased with the experience and with their work. Everyone was very attentive and helpful! The music played in the studio was a GREAT addition to the experience! read more

I was sent the info of packages to pick for the session. Session chosen was $129. Received an email that you would get a 100 off and free digital, but it is not explained that it depends on the package chosen. You are also not given pricing for the photos until the end so this should be disclosed along with the Session you pick. My bad for not researching this prior to my daughter taking a bunch of photos. The photographers basically take a bunch of photos in each scene, but not all of them ask us which ones we wanted for editing so basically when we returned a bunch were left out. They chose what they wanted to edit. This is something else I was not clear on and no one explains beforehand in detail. To get digitals with cap and gown no prints it is 1000. They say they gave you 8 prints but then the shipping is another $50. They tug at your heart strings with a video, which is basically an ad for cady because almost every image is edited with their logo, which I did not really notice until I got home. You are too busy getting emotional at the viewing of all the photos so details I did not notice until after. The packages do not make sense. They do not allow singles if you do not purchase a package, and digitals are basically max of 3 with a package with max poses of 3 I beleive it was, which is ridiculous because most kids want digitals and multiple poses if you picked a session with multiple scenes. The garden scene looks super fake. At the end of the day, I paid almost 1200 for digital images that I did not even pick. I have never felt this ripped off before but it was my daughters senior photos so what do you do. I almost felt like a take it or leave it because not many options to negotiate getting only digitals you want for a reduced cost so over 1000 for 59 digital prints and an advertisement video for Cady. Do better Cady! Although, the staff was nice. I felt taken advantage of due to limited choices. $1200 for this is unacceptable, but I am the sucker that fell for this so I can only blame myself. read more

Ughhhh! So our child's high school required everyone to get their senior yearbook cap and gown photos from CADY Studios. We mistakenly decided to go ahead and get all of their senior pics taken at CADY so we could save a trip on another photographer/studio. I'm only writing this review to save you from the same mistake if you are in the same boat. The photo packages are very expensive...in the thousands if you want more than just a couple of shots and/or the thumb drive with all the photos. The photographers we saw (all but one) weren't attempting to vibe with the students. While our photographer was sweet, she was very quiet, very low energy and there was no attempt to liven up the energy or get to know my child, they didn't seem invested at all in how the photos would turn out. It's very much a move 'em in move 'em out kind of place. Lots of chaos, people everywhere, but definitely an 'us vs. them' feeling between the photographers and the subjects. They will ask you to leave them a review there after the session has ended...right in front of them while they're watching you, and before you see, order, and receive the photos. I'm assuming this is because they know that's the most likely way to get a positive review, especially considering the quality they offer. To top it all off, the photos are super shiny, heavily edited and smoothed out so much the photos barely even look like my child. Like, my child's nose even looks pointy and thinned out in some of the photos, and there is not a pore or natural crinkle or curve to be seen. I'm embarrassed to show family and friends or post them anywhere because they all look like someone used the cheapest face smoothing filter from some free mobile phone app. Seriously horrible quality studio, will definitely not make the same mistake for our next graduating child. If your school requires you to use CADY, I recommend the cheapest package available and then head elsewhere for quality senior photos. read more

I'm very upset.....my daughter took her senior pictures in June.... We went back 3 weeks later and looked at all the pictures..... Cady sent the wrong picture to the school and today Friday October 21the school sent us the picture that would be in the yearbook and it was wrong.... I have been on the phone twice (had to leave my number both times to get a call back) because the hold time was over 30 minutes the first time the second was 50 minutes and know one can help me I just need them to resend the picture to the school... now I got I'm email saying I want to purchase more pictures that's not what I need I NEED THE RIGHT PICTURE SENT TO THE SCHOOL.......They told me they can't so I'm waiting for a supervisor to call me it's ridiculous.....Florida read more

I booked a Senior photo session, where I only needed 3 pictures: Cap and Gown, Yearbook and Sports. When going on the website to book a session there are three packages that show up and the "most popular" as the CADY studio suggests is the Elite one for $199. That is the one I chose because I could not find any simpler packages since I only needed pictures for school and that's it. When I came in told them that all I needed were those 3 and if I could change the package, but instead the staff kept asking me to take the rest of the pictures and proceeded with my session. They took the pictures and later decided to tell me that it is none refundable since half the session had been done. I had no idea that other packages were available for a way lower cost, and now none of the staff are being helpful, and don't want to refund me on a job they did not complete. I have not taken any other pictures, other than for the school and I would like to get a refund, because the package with 3 pictures is $79 not $199! The customer service is very bad and nobody seems to understand the situation, my senior picture experience has been ruined. read more
