The added services like professional hair and makeup, as well as the option for both in-studio and off-site destination shoots, are definite strengths of their offerings in higher package options. The overall production quality was excellent, and the photographers were professional and engaging. That said, I ultimately chose not to purchase additional photos from CADY because I feel their pricing is excessive and not family friendly. It was disappointing to learn that the video reel put together for parents and highlight during their sales presentation can't be purchased on its own, its only available if you commit to an expensive photo package. This lack of flexibility in pricing feels more like a high pressure sales strategy than a service built around the needs of families. What concerns me most is how heavily CADY's model plays on the emotions of parents. By marketing their services around once in a lifetime milestones like graduations and then offering payment plans, they create an environment that encourages overspending. In many cases, this may exploit lower-income families who feel compelled to make financial sacrifices just to preserve memories of their child. I believe memories should be affordable and accessible to all families, not treated as luxury purchases. While the quality of CADY's work is strong, the business approach was more focused on maximizing revenue than supporting families during meaningful moments. Because of this, I truly encourage our school district and others to consider more affordable and transparent photography options in the future. They wait until you spend a day getting photos taken, scene after scene to spring the high cost of the photos on you. I hope CADY Studios reflect on this feedback and consider adjusting their pricing structure to be more inclusive in the future. The cost doesn't have to be as high if the volume of the pictures you sale in return increases. Making getting a child's once in a lifetime pictures taken professionally a more affordable option to all parents, not just some.

He never lost momentum, stayed energetic throughout the entire event. He's very creative. Through our multiple photoshoots, I felt that he likes more natural pictures. He will occasionally tell you how to pose if you get stuck, but he likes the organic energy to flow between the couples, and captures the mood/vibe of that moment. I will say, he is a very punctual and type A. He likes to stay organized and on schedule. At times I felt rushed, but I can't blame him for wanting to do an excellent job. I guess if he didn't stick to the schedule, we wouldn't have gotten some of the great pictures that we have. He is very quick to respond and answers all questions. I have researched quite a few photographers when wedding planning, and I feel like his prices are mid range. Overall, I would definitely recommend him for your upcoming events. Jamie has had the challenge of photographing not only my wedding, but also both my older brother's weddings in 2014 and 2018. We are all really different people with varying expectations and Jamie has more than delivered for all of us! We joke that he is now stuck with being the family photographer. Jamie's photography style is striking and captures so much. Couldn't imagine anyone else being in charge of capturing the day for us! He is versatile, knowledgeable and excellent to work with. Melissa is simply great! She not only switched around her schedule to accommodate me, she also checked in with me while I was in the hospital to make sure we were still on track with the picture time( newborn pics are usually taken within 2 weeks of the baby's birth). On the creative end she listened to my ideas and did her hardest to recreate my vision. I wanted lots of colors and a picture created with Diwali(festival of lights) theme in mind. Melissa did not the necessary research and even went to purchase several items to make things happen perfectly. During the day of the shoot she as quick,efficient and truly a baby whisperer. My baby slept through the entire shoot! Her studio is also perfect with the temperature adjust for the baby's comfort. She has diapers, breast pump, baby wipes, hand sanitizers, in short all essentials needed for new moms and babies. She also has a nook for snacks for the parents and outfit options for moms to wear at the shoot. I also got my pictures within 2 weeks which was amazing. Additionally, even after getting the pictures I was not happy with one particular picture and Melissa did her damnest to make it better including offering to retake the pic.
