My comments are similar to Nicole M's below. I'll focus on the carbonara. I am particular about this traditional Roman dish because I developed a taste for authentic carbonara while living in Rome. We came for the cheese wheel experience, of course, so we all ordered the cacio e pepe, and we all loved it!! We of course had to get the table side Cacio e Pepe, that's a given. Very very yummy, but just know to expect some whole black peppercorns in there. The gnocchi were also amazing! The tomato sauce they were in was delectable. And for dessert, we had the cannoli filled with chocolate mousse. The mousse was light and fluffy, and the shells were a little thinner than usual, but they were perfect. My friends and I had been dying to try out Cacio e Pepe after seeing the parm wheel all over social media. We were easily able to make a reservation the day before, and upon arriving got seated immediately. I recommend requesting the back garden seating whenever you make the reservation as well - the space is so cute and decorated. Has a lot more ambience than the front of the restaurant. We each did a glass of wine - they have a small variety but good options that got the job done and reasonably priced! For our meals we all of course gor the cacio e pepe. It smelled amazing as soon as it came out in the parm wheel! The server stirs it all up in the cheese right in front of you and beautifully puts it in your plate. It was quite good - not as cheesy as I would've liked, but still good and definitely had a lot of flavor! The portion was big as well so you're getting your moneys worth. This plate would have been so much better if they finally grinded all the peppercorn. Each bite of spaghetti had a few small peppercorns in it giving it a very peppery flavor.
