    Horrible customer service you're way better off at Mountain America Credit Union. Please don't go your money is better off else where !

I was rushed out the door while trying to roll over a CD and gain information about interest that I incurred. I'm also frustrated because I'm trying to email the bank and I'm realizing there is no way to do so. I'm sending a letter snail mail which is antiquated and not secure. There's no way to see any of my information on the CD now that I've opened a new one, all of that information is completely gone. It was all there just an hour ago. It's completely wiped from the website and the app, and I cannot look at Information, that I should be able to find on my own account. The young man, whose name I believe was Isaiah who assisted me told me I would be able to find this information online, which was not true. He also rushed me out the door and forgot to give me a cashier's check for nearly $4,000 that I had to come back into the bank to get. What I like about Mtn America is the low fees and the high interest rates, however, the service has not been good. I often feel like I'm speaking with people on the phone or in the bank that do not have enough intelligence to give me information about my account. When I asked the young man how much interest I incurred he told me an incorrect number and seemed completely disinterested and annoyed with helping me. Logging onto my account to find out the details and seeing that all of that information had immediately been deleted is UNACCEPTABLE AND ILLEGAL. I want to see a printed-out tally of the interest that I incurred for my 24-month gross certificate that lasted two years. I believe what I earned should be higher. I wanted to follow up and check the interest rates that I was receiving monthly, and the timeline of which I continually added to this CD to double check, but I cannot find that information on my account because it has been deleted after rolling over my CD just an hour ago. This should not be, a customer should be able to find that information indefinitely while their account is open. Had I known that everything would be completely wiped from my account, I would've printed it off myself. What I'm describing is illegal and I plan to make that known if this isn't resolved. I walked out, uncertain about the information I was given. I was not able to give myself any reassurance logging online because the information is gone. Your website is less than stellar (it should be impeccable when dealing with people's money).- I have told CS reps on the phone before about this. Some of the help that you hire either seem totally disinterested or incapable of helping me. I have linked my external banking accounts to my Mountain America account and the information is almost always inaccurate regarding how much money I have in the other accounts. I realize there is delay or lag for those to be updated, but it is always way out of synch. I want to see monthly interest rates and deposits of previous CD. I do not want to be told that that information is no longer available. That is unacceptable and illegal. It is a breach of security for me to have to mail any other account information snail mail. MACU has no way to email a rep via secure message. I cannot get his information from anyone at the bank. Rating F for security, helpfulness, reliability.

    I've been in this branch 4 times and 3 of my visits have been very poor. The people are nice when…read moreyou are talking to them. However, getting to the point of talking to them is the problem. I've waited in line for anywhere from 5-20 minutes and have had to walk out twice. There's never been more than 3 people ahead of me in line and there's always been 2 tellers. Today there was one person ahead of me and I walked in ahead of another gentleman. There was an open Teller and the guy behind me skipped the line and went straight to the front. If the Teller was expecting him, he didn't say anything. Neither Teller acknowledged us in line at all. There were two bankers in the offices and the the Manager in his office. None of them had guests and they pretended not to see us. After 5 min I stared at the Manager through his open door and glass wall. He glanced up for a split second and then right back to his screen. I walked out and deposited the $20k check to my business in my Chase account. I usually use that account for a rainy day account. This is such a bad experience because I have multiple accounts there both personally and for multiple businesses. I want to feel valued when I walk in the door, not like I'm a thorn in the side.

Interest rates are about average but SBSU usually gets high ratings for financial stability. But when something goes amiss things can turn ugly in a hurry. Bank employees and officials, behind the scenes are often ostentatiously indifferent. On one occasion, after about a week of phone calls, a an official refused to remove the name of a complete stranger from my account. He finally complied after I threatened to withdraw my account and write a letter to the bank president, explaining why. In a different incident, the bank set up unnecessary obstacles to using Zelle. This included repetitive questing of credentials to the point of harassment. I ultimately had to resort to a different method. Aside from these unpleasant experiences, all my other transaction with the bank have been positive.

A couple days later, first colony texts me saying we have the report and will send it to SBSU, just pay us. I pay first colony. I contact Janiece. She cancels the report. Price breakdown shows I'm refunded the charged amount for sbsu appraisal. My credit card wasn't refunded for SBSU appraisal, nor was my checking account. I reached out to both companies and neither will make it right. I'm out $925 from someone I trusted. I do not recommend.
