Just because Dr. Hawley saw something unusual on the x-ray and took the time to take more x-rays to get a better view and investigate. To make a long story short, something very serious and invasive was caught early at my routine exam. Something that could have destroyed my face. I still have to go to the University of Michigan to have the situation monitored every year. Dr. Hawley has been there for me every step of the way. Referring me to the best oral surgeons -- her friends and contacts -- and always asking if I'm keeping up with my check-ups at U of M.
