We called Overhead Door, and they came out and confirmed that the spring simply needed more tension. Despite this, we were charged $100 because they said it was not covered under warranty. Even the technician agreed with us that this issue should have been covered, as it was not something we could have prevented. It also raises concerns about whether the correct tension was applied when the spring was installed in the first place. Due to this experience, we will not be using this company again and will not be referring them to friends or family.

They showed me what all was broken on the door. Katrina called me and let me know that I would be needing a new garage door. She was amazing! She worked with me to try to help me to get the price down on the door that was being installed. I had told her I just had to repair my air conditioner and now having to get a new garage door was a lot to deal with it once. Also, it wasn't supposed to come in until later the following week. To my surprise I got a call this morning. She was able to send out the crew to change and put up my new garage door! I was so grateful! It was definitely a blessing! I want everyone to know what a positive experience I had with Katrina and with her crew. They were polite and had great customer service! They cleaned up their mess and left nothing behind and I could not be happier! If you need a new garage door, this is the company you need to go to! They are amazing!

They don't apologize for missing appointments. When YOU call to reschedule they leave you on hold for 20 or more minutes until the receptionist hangs up on you. And then when they finally do show up the workers are so angry they're in your garage using the F word over and over! Bad experience overall. Called repeatedly to speak with management/an owner and no one would speak with me. Not only was I recommending this company to family but I also shared their info with my clients (I am a local realtor). I will not be sharing their company info ever again after this experience.

He even discounted the work to make up for the tardiness of the work. Very genuine guy - will do exactly what he says he will do.

The first time he came over he made a mistake and my roll up door became unrolled. So I needed to help him to get it back to 0. After 4 hours of him trying to fix his mistake he said he needed to come back to actually do the work that was needed. After being extremely late the second time he says something broke, but it was something that wasn't his fault (broke when the door unrolled the first night). So he messed with the door for multiple hours again. At one point leaving our house. He had my wife sit in the shop so nothing would get stolen until he returned a couple hours later. He got back to "work". Still not actually doing anything in the positive. Merely getting back to what the door was before he touched it. So he needed to came back again. 3rd trip he determined the plan he had would not work after all. That instead he came up with an alternative plan to help. He just needed to get the materials and would come back the next day. The kicker is that he needed to be paid for the "work" he had done the three other days. My mistake was paying the man. Once I paid him I never heard from him again. The plan to gather the materials and come back never happened. It was my dumb mistake for paying someone for "fixing" something that wasn't broken to begin with until it was touched by an "expert". It aggravates that the entire time he was working he continued to say how much of a deal he was giving me. That he was helping me out. He complained about men wanting to get paid for working for him. He was a very shady individual. I warn of his ways. He will tell you everything that you want to hear so that he gets the business. Just go with a decent sized company that can get the job done in a single day.
