I…read morewent in for bikini and legs today using my free Behandlung from my bonus card (11th time free). I made an appointment with the woman who used to wax my bf but a different woman was there. Before she began, her daughter was brought in to the front of the shop. She is around 4 or 5 I guess. The cosmetician was gone for quite a while with her then did the front of my legs. Not my ankles or feet. Then she wanted to do the bikini and went out for another while to her daughter. I think she didn't understand what I wanted because she took off the whole top corner of my bikini triangle. She kept saying ja ja but she didn't hear me say what I wanted. The bit she took off hurt a lot, not from the sugar but because she pressed it on so hard. Then her daughter started trying the door (my legs up and open on the table)! She went to the door to talk to her and I stood up and put my skirt back on and asked her to just finish the back of my legs. While she did this her daughter tried the door handle and demanded to be let in the entire time. When she was done she slathered my legs in a thick layer of baby oil which I wiped off with a towel when she left. Me and my hairy ankles and feet and my strange-looking bush will find another place because I am never going back there again ever.

Needless to say, she did a great job. This location is very clean and modern. The staff is kind, helpful and professional. I can't say enough how happy I am to have finally found my go-to place. For all I know they have the best landing strip creators in the business.) One of my eyebrows is now farther from my nose than the other. Waiting for that to grow back is going to be fun. }: ( My waxer was very nice, but nice won't fix my brow. The cubicles are very small, very bright, a bit drafty, and generally unappealing. I was very clear about what I wanted, and brought a picture to be sure; what I got was a lot of tweezing - hello, I can tweeze my own brows at home, what I wanted was a shape and wax - and a result of uneven brows with almost no change to their original shape. It's a nice shape, sure, but I didn't get what I explicitly asked for. Also, the waxer didn't use any of even the most basic tricks (a little baby powder before the wax goes on, for example, or a cold pack or ice after the waxing) to reduce my skin's redness, so I had to put half an inch of makeup on just to look like I hadn't been dragged along a carpet on my face. In conclusion: go elsewhere if you can afford to. Or just do your eyebrows at home, which is probably what I'm going to stick with from now on. **Edited 28.10.13, to respond to owner's comment: Yes, brows are difficult... that's why I went to a professional instead of trying to shape mine at home. It wasn't malice or neglect; as I said, the waxer was nice - just, apparently, unsuccessful. And my criticisms of not getting what I asked for plus how abused my skin looked afterwards remain. I took a quick look in the mirror on my way out but wasn't made aware of the unevenness until I got home and my boyfriend, of all people (since when do straight dudes notice brow shape?!) pointed out that they were slightly off. And not getting it right the first time isn't the best argument for me to go back and hope it's good the second time. I appreciate your response, especially how polite it was, but I have to stand by my review as a reflection of my experience.

The "gentleman' at the reception desk, who is supposedly the location manager, was there as I went in to quickly reschedule an appointment (at Hoheluft). I really don't understand how someone so rude and unfriendly can have a job at such a position (reception!?). And no, it was not a one-time only thing, unfortunately had to deal with him several times now, but today I just had enough. I walked away from there. As for treatments here, I'd had done waxing here before and it is ok, not always of the best quality (sometime an area seems to be overseen or hairs are broken instead of completely pulled out). But each time I had been here, I had seen different faces (unlike at Hoheluft) . Once a lady that treated me, actually told me that the atmosphere in this salon was horrible under employees, so no one stayed there for long. As I have read the other reviews as well, I would highly recommend training your staff (especially in this location) on customer service as some others have mentioned as well. Übrigens haben wir Deutsch gesprochen, also hier geht es nicht um eine Sprachbarriere ;)

I've tried a few others but they all weren't too hot. I was a little hesitant about trying honey garden out after reading a previous review. I don't know what that person was thinking but I have nothing but good things to say about honey garden. The receptionist was super friendly and so was the girl waxing my eyebrows(Fransiska). She also did a great job at it too. Plus the interior of the place itself is modern and cozy. I loved it!! Thanks for the great job guys! Maybe next time I'll gather the courage to try a Brazilian.

I have been using this studio for over 3 years now and am still very happy with service and price plus the fact that they always accommodate me with an appointment albeit sometimes on very short notice. Very, very nice…read more After being rudely turned down when asking for a waxing and pedicure at Adam & Eve's, my friend and I decided to try 'Wax in the City' and were very satisfied. Walk in Waxing service (only minor drawback, no manicure or pedicure here), very friendly depiladoras. Some hair wasn't long enough for a wax, yet, so it was suggested that I come back a week from today and save myself some money. The rooms are clean, if only 'shut' by a curtain. Altogether, exactly what one needs, quick, friendly and professional. And, even though I don't work in the city, I'm assuming that if one does, one could easily get some treatment done on one's lunch break. They also have a bonus card, where one gets a free wax after having collected 12 of them - that helps with the prices being a bit above average. Liked it, lots & will be back. :)
