My family has been going to C Squared for years now and couldn't be happier. The staff is always friendly and greet you when you walking. Jackie up front does a great job. I never wait long at all from my appointment time and they call me back quickly. Our hygienist, Mandy, is amazing. She is so kind and gentle. My kids have are kind of nervous of going to the dentist but Mandy makes it easy and as pleasant as possible. Dr Chen is efficient and also gentle. He knows his stuff and has done great work on our teeth when needed. I appreciate the care given here and how they work with out schedules to get us all seen routinely. They are great at notifications of future appointments with email and texts. Cause we know we are all busy. Nice to see a medical provider who still cares about patients. read more

Avoid This Dentist at All Costs - Total Disrespect for Patients' Time If you're considering this dental office, do yourself a favor and run the other way. After waiting a full month just to get a basic cleaning and X-rays, they scheduled me for a crown replacement today. I rearranged my schedule, took time off work, and showed up--only to be told they had no record of my appointment. Nothing. Not on the calendar. No explanation. Just a blank stare and a shrug from the receptionist. Apparently, patient care here ends the moment they take your insurance info. No accountability, no urgency, and clearly no respect for people's time or health. The next available appointment? Two months from now. As if I have the luxury of endlessly rearranging my life because they can't manage a calendar. This office is a disorganized mess and an insult to what healthcare should be. The office is very professional yet warm and welcoming. All charges are discussed up front so you are not surprised later as I have had in the past with other dental offices. The dental cleanings are always so thorough. I always leave feeling so good. I am so glad this office was recommended to me. It took me 3 offices before I finally found a dentist who I trust and who does incredible work. Bonus is, I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes before being led to the back for my appt. Such a great experience! The office staff is very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed so warmly on our first visit. Cleanings were great. I appreciate their Covid precautions and strict adherence to policies that keep me and my family safe. All in all, it was a great experience, reasonably priced, and we will definitely be back. Today, we had another appointment for my daughter who is anxiety prone where needles are concerned. I went in for a cleaning today and saw that my prior rating was only a 4 star...it should definitely be a 5 star as I have never had a dentist or a dentist office give such care and personal service on my teeth. I just realized that I never rating here. Dr. Chen is super awesome and their whole office is very nice. I have been in Dr.Chen's office for over 6 years. They always take good care of me. Not only the quality work but very friendly service. Jackie who works at front desk, is very professional. She knows a lot and quick response when need help. I really appreciate everything they did for me! My mom does not have PPO plan, however, their in-house price is very competitive compare with other offices. I just had my 2nd visit at their office. It went smoothly and painlessly, I was in and out for my cleaning and flouride treatment in about 45 minutes. The front desk is always cheerful and kind, and the dental hygienist along with Dr. Chen are knowledgeable, patient and kind. I had the worst experience in this office. I told them I don't want XRay because I just got the whole mouth xray done on my prior dentist and the dental assistant kept ignoring my request. Dr. Curtis Chen then came and told me basically there's nothing he can do if I don't let his staff do the whole mouth XRay. I told him the purpose I came over because I just want him to do my crown and my surgeon can email him the xray right away. He didn't want to accept the xray via email so I finally had to leave. What a waste of time. They're just trying to do the whole mouth XRay to collect insurance money. They don't even bother to listen to me why I came over for. read more

Before I came here, I almost always avoided dentists and it had been over 5 years since I had gotten a cleaning. They made the procedure so quick and easy and painless and I found myself going back regularly every 6 months. They're also really accommodating to my work schedule and call me when there are availabilities that open up that would better fit my needs-which means they keep tabs on that for you! It's a super clean facility and all the staff, along with Dr. Chen, help you feel welcome and make you feel like you're a pampered 10-year old. I keep trying to write my review when I arrive but I never wait longer than 3 minutes so I can never finish! It is always super clean and inviting. The staff, especially Shayna, is great. They are all very nice and they go out of their way to help you & make you comfortable. Plus they are always on top of things i.e. sending reminder cards, calling to confirm appointments, taking care of billing. I don't have to worry about any of that. Dr. Chen is cool & takes the time to get to know his patients on a personal level. He explains everything so we are always well informed. I have noticed some turnover with the hygenists, but Meagan has been there a while, and everyone that I've encountered in that position has been fantastic. I have no complaints so I would definitely recommend this office as a dental solution. read more

First off, this review is based entirely off the front desk and has nothing to do with Dr. Chen or his services. I made an appointment over 2 weeks ago as a first time patient. I forget who I spoke with over the phone, but I was able to make an appointment without giving them my insurance group/policy number since I was at work and did not have it on me at the time. She said they would call me back the week of the appointment to confirm my insurance. Come the day of my appointment (no phone call yet), I get a phone call at 8:00am (my appointment is at 9:15am) asking for my insurance information, which I gladly give them. The lady says "Great, see you at 9:15am." I get another phone call at 8:15am saying they cannot take my appointment because they are not taking new patients at this time, reason being that my insurance is an HMO and beginning next month they will only be taking PPO. Honestly, I get it, but the fact that this all happened within an hour of my appointment is very frustrating. I had to move a couple of other appointments to other days because of this appointment. Very inconvenient and unprofessional. Again, this review has nothing to do with Dr. Chen and his services. I initially booked here because of his great reviews. read more

Before we found Dr Chen and his offices we bounced around the various dental groups in Valencia and were not very impressed. Where other have lacked in courtesy and fair billing - C Squared has been great for us. The office features the latest in dental equipment and comfort. Very clean and organized so you feel at ease. I really like that Dr Chen makes a point on checking in with me even if I am only getting a cleaning. He comes in the room and asks if things are okay and always has a pleasant demeanor. His wife also works here, and she is very professional as well. The staff is also great too. They are courteous and happy when assisting and greeting. Shayna and Meagen are always helpful and welcoming with questions and concerns.
