I headed to watering can wines and I couldn't have possibly been more pleased with my experience. I expected to walk into a small wine shop, and instead I was greeted in a beautiful open marbled lobby space by two individuals serving tastings and glasses, as well as several tables of happy patrons, chatting, drinking, and snacking. I asked if it were possible to purchase some wine bottles and where that might be located and the most lovely woman I have ever met, Dianne, showed me the old wine shop space, the new space, and the temporary space while the new space is set to be open. I shared my wine preferences with Dianne, who then suggested I try the Merlot that they have at the tasting bar. She and her lovely male counterpart poured me a very generous tasting while telling me about the history of their shop and the wine that I was drinking. I asked to peruse the Merlot section a bit further, and after giving me some time to ponder, Dianne joined and discussed what may be the best option for me. Dianne was incredibly kind and generous in her helping me choose my selection. My spouse and I are happily trying our first bottle and excited to try the other. We plan to return to the airbnb we are at and are equally excited to return to watering can wines and see Dianne again! Hopeful to be able to stay and enjoy a glass on sight next time! (Sorry for the lack of pictures, it was rainy and I left my phone in the car!)
