Owners here are super nice; go out of their way to help me when I come in, which is more often then I'd like to admit. Only a beer shopper so can't comment on liquor or wine, but the selection is good to great and the prices are fair and reasonable. I drive past a few other places similar to this one to go here, it's that good. read more

Wow. What a great liquor store. They hosted a tasting event. Where patrons brought in there tastes of bourbon with others doing same. CD provides food, water, and many additional tastes. AJ is the host and he and his staff had a great event. read more

This is not a restaurant. This is a liquor store. They have knowledgeable, friendly staff, and a very good selection of bourbon.

First time at the store, I went to the bourbon raffle and bottle sharing event with my buddy to see the store and connect with other bourbon enthusiasts. I'm not sure what we did but we didn't feel welcomed at all. We brought our bottles and tried others but then the manager who is NOT a nice person just randomly asked us to leave, claiming it was because we didn't buy anything (even though we did, and maybe would have bought more). Totally ruined it for me, all we wanted to do was make friends and see the store, but I guess it's a tight group that doesn't welcome newbies. Very bad first experience and we won't be going back or giving them any business. (The prices are high anyway) there's plenty of better liquor stores with better prices, better barrel picks, and more welcoming managers read more

Best liquor store in Tinley. Always great customer service and their member rewards program is better than Binny's in my opinion. If you're a bourbon collector this is the place. read more

Their remodel is fantastic! This is my favorite liquor store in the area! Super nice staff & always accommodating to anything you need! Highly recommend! Ask about their reward program! read more

CD Liquors in Tinley Park, has a great selection of whiskey/bourban, some hard to find bottles! AJ is very knowledgeable and if he doesn't have it, he'll try to get. Very friendly! read more

This is the best liquor store in the Tinley Park area, great selection and great prices. This store has a lot of the bottles the other stores do not carry. read more

The folks behind the counter greeted me as soon as I walked in the store. They have some great bottles of bourbon and they even have samples of some bourbons behind the counter. They really understand the bourbon process and are very knowledgeable. Also prices on allocated bourbons are very reasonable compared to some sites I have been to in the Chicago area. read more

This is my favorite liquor store in the area! Super nice staff & always accommodating to anything you need! Highly recommend! Ask about their reward points also! read more

C D Liquors - a refrigerator full of beer - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Tinley Park, Illinois

I drive in from Indiana to visit this store. Great Bourbon selection at a great price. AJ and staff are friendly and like to talk bourbon and have great amount of insight. The store is well organized and have a great selection of everything you need in one spot. Cigar collection is top notch also, for being a Liquor store. I cant say enough good things about this place. read more

They have everything you need. And always treat you with a friendly smile. Good prices too!

CD Liquors has the most helpful people. Very knowledgeable about the wine selection they have. read more

Wonderful people make you feel like family. They have a wide selection and are knowledgeable about their products.

This is my lifeblood. Liquor. This is my blood bank. CD Liquors. These people know their stock, and that's an impressive task because their stock is stacked so high it almost hits the ceiling. It's like an amazing booze jungle. All the liquor, beer, mixers, you can imagine.. ripe for the picking. You will not need to go anywhere else. I like organic wine because it contains low to no sulfites and I have a sulfite sensitivity. I went into Tinley Park liquors and asked if they had any organic wine. He quickly told me no. I looked anyway and found about 3. They were closed so I headed out of my way to CD and he pointed me straight to a section with organic wines. This is the only place I will go from now on. They have an area for beer and wine tastings so I will definitely have to make a stop to one of those since it's so close to my work. Highly recommend! read more

Would not let me give a lower rating. New owners -- watch pricing. Selling some desirable bottles of spirits for 2 and 3 times the retail value. Many regular spirits in the store are selling for 20% or more than reputable liquor stores and chain stores. Unless you want to get ripped off, I recommend taking business elsewhere. read more

I just love these guys, especially for the small, family owned, "we want to make you happy" atmosphere. They also have locations in Mokena, Manhatten, and Burr Ridge, IL and I can see why they are growing. The place is owned and run by a husband and wife and their son-in-law and all three are wonderful. They have the absolute best prices on what I buy most and it always amazes me how they beat the big places in price, service, and quality. I especially recommend their wines, extensive line of domestic and imported beers, and hard liquors. Tremendous selection of everything, a real warmth, ,especially if any of the family is around. Pay attention to any of their "tastings" that may be coming up. Well worth the time, cost, and effort. These guys are terrific! read more

There is no need to go anywhere else. This is all you need. If you are looking for something typical, or unusual, or something different, or if you need something that a recipe calls for and you have no idea what it is - THIS IS YOUR PLACE!! I needed a particular bottle of wine for a recipe. I had a feeling I wouldn't find it at the grocery store, but I went to another liquor store in the area and the owner had no clue what I was talking about - I was peeved. I went to CD - walked through the door - asked for what I needed - the owner waked me right to it and she had a few different bottles to choose from. Cotes du Rhone is what I was looking for - and what I got was awesome. Needless to say I walked out with what I needed and then some, and only spent 20 on 2 great bottles of wine. They have a great selection of everything - beer, wine & the hard stuff. I had also found awesome beer there this summer - Wheach, a peach wheat beer. Love it!! This is our go to place for our booze. I have learned my lesson and I refuse to go anywhere else, because anywhere else will be a waste of my time . read more

Vast selection to choose from. Staff was extremely welcoming and helpful in answering questions and offering suggestions. Prices seem fair

Great one stop shop for all your liquor needs. From beer to liquor they have it all. I'm a strict brown liquor man and have trouble finding different spirits outside of Jack Daniels, Jameson, and Hennessey; however, the management recommended Clontarf. I must say I was very impressed. Its kind of like Jameson, as it is an Irish Whiskey, but its sweeter and doesn't have that after burn like most hard liquors do. Also, I have shopped for wines trying to impress my parents/friends and have received the greatest assistance when shopping by taste and price. Great Place.Great People. Must Go. Five Stars!! read more

After purchasing a total of over $65 of beer & wine, the packaging was 'less than' (thin paper bag) and immediately exiting the store, the bag containing my wine broke. The staff said since I left the store, it was my problem. Although I am a frequent customer, I will reconsider visiting this store again. read more

These people will string you along for as long as they can. Telling you they will get you rare wines and VanWinkle bourbons. This place is good for mass produced stuff. Don't waste your time coming here for rare stuff. They just don't have it. Pleasant workers but that's about it. I wish I would not of spent so much money here over the years. I feel horrible about it. read more

This place has gone way downhill. The new owners have the place looking horrible and the prices are not impressive.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, selection is excellent, and the prices seem fair. Layout is a bit cramped in spots though; they could use a bigger store. Think having more than one register would be a plus as well. read more

Pretty decent selection of wine, beer and hard liquor. The prices are reasonable and I like the display of the liquor on these big wooden bakers racks. read more

Always check your receipt here. They say the are Albanians but twice they've double charged me...and then pretend like it's an innocent mistake. I'm never going there again. Ever! read more

Great selection of booze and super friendly staff. Definitely my favorite liquor store in the area.

I went here to buy a birthday present for someone who is a wine expert. I wasn't sure what to get that would be appropriate or impressive (after all it was my boyfriend's dad) but the owner helped me out so much. He explained the wineries that were known for making the best pinot noir. However, my favorite aspect was that he got me an amazing deal. He wasn't trying to push the most expensive wines, but the quality ones that were affordable. My boyfriend's dad was very impressed with my "wine knowledge." I would definitely go back if I have any more questions about wine for a present or myself. They are so very helpful and knowledgable. read more

Much better than CVS, and the owner opened a new beer for us to try.

This is still the best place to buy your beer (and wine I suppose). The folks there will make you feel at home whether you are buying (the mandatory) Miller Lite or a beer worth drinking. read more

This is where I buy my liquor. The owners are friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of everything, especially the hard to find Sam Adams limited edition brews. If you're not sure of a particular type of wine, just ask if you're not approached first. You will walk out satisfied. read more

This is a great store, I never have trouble finding anything I want, the owner is very helpful with whatever you need. The prices are very competitive and no high Crook county tax. Quality all the way around. read more

Great place for all your liquor needs. Craft beers from all over. Nice helpful people! Also always look by the check out, there is always a clearance brew for about half the price as it would normally be. No waiting! In and out in a flash. My go to spot for adult beverages! read more

this is in response to SmartShopper. I am totally and really appalled as to what was written. I know for a fact we did apologized and correct the mistake within 5 minutes. We have been so very helpful to you by keeping your wine as well as your brand of cigarettes stock in the store for you. To have such things written over a mistake on my part reflect the store is not right. Mistakes happen people are human. A mistake that was corrected not ignored... Also what does the authenticity of one have to do with the store.. I am Mexican & Italian does that make me bad too. Really hurt you seemed like such a nice person...... read more

Wonderful people. Great tastings, quite regularly Adnan is the best. Need something, he's your guy. Questions? Mountain of information.

The owner is very friendly and always helpful. Very reasonable pricing and a large selection. I would choose to go to this store over Binny's due to the fact that he will probably have the liqour in stock and charges a heck of a lot less! read more

The people in this place are liquor geniuses. Great assortment and understanding of wine. Pay a few extra bucks but its worth it

Although they do have one of the better overall craft beer selections in the immediate area and the people that work there are friendly, they do "hide" hard to get beers away behind the counter. I like good craft beers. Some stores do lists and what not for hard to get beers, the owner of CD specifically told me when i asked him back in November that they don't do lists and led me to believe that if he gets the beer, anyone can buy it. Recently, when a hard to get beer came out, i called and he said he just got it, so i stopped there after work. When i got there and asked about it, he said "i don't really recognize you". I explained that i just called and was told they had it. He very reluctantly sold me one (and i had been in there at least a dozen times before). I live in the neighborhood and have spent at least few hundred dollars there in the last 6 months, but since he didn't "recognize" me, he acted like i didn't deserve to purchase it. Fast forward to today, another hard to get beer is sitting behind the counter out of sight, and i notice it and ask the girl behind the counter about it. She defers my question to the owner who is also standing behind the counter, and he got all nervous and said it's all sold. He definitely didn't expect me to see it or ask about it, but i follow the craft beer scene and know when stuff is hitting shelves in my area. I didn't cause a scene, as it is his right to sell his beer to whomever he wants, but i do live in the immediate area and have plenty of friends in the area whom i used to tell to go shop in his store (as i would prefer to support him over Binny's), but it's going to be hard to go in there anymore or recommend to family/friends if i know that he has a "list" in his head and will save the hard to get stuff for the people he thinks deserve it. My money doesn't seem to be good enough for him. So, good selections (and decent prices) for beer, spirits and wine, but bad experiences have rubbed me the wrong way, and don't know if i will ever go back in or recommend to anyone else. read more
