So glad we found these guys. They took the time to explain some of my questions, didn't make me feel rushed. We will diffently be using them for opening and closing from now on!!! This is a PSA to stay FAR AWAY from CC Pools in Ottawa Lake, MI!!! We have a pool that needed sanding because the kids were cutting their feet at the bottom. The salesperson who came out last year said when it was complete it would be 'smooth as butter' which is why we decided to go with them, even though they had a wait. Fast forward to this year, they came out to do it and we felt it was still very rough. Called the owner, who clearly does not care about customer satisfaction, who answered "yeah" and proceeded to tell me to call the service dept. Waited for them to come out, which meant having to open our pool about a month later than usual. They came out and said it was good to go so we filled it. The FIRST day my girls and friends were in the pool their toes were all scratched ans almost bleeding. Took pictures, called the service desk and they never got back to me. Called a month later, an entirely new staff. I re-explained the situation, the new office manager seemed very empathetic and understanding and said there's no reason that should have happened and that she'd get to the bottom of it. She did call back, but with a different tune saying that they provided the service, the person who came last year never should have told us our pool would be smooth (he doesnt work there anymore, shocker), that we owe them $1,400 and they would peruse legal action if it's not paid asap. We pay all of our bills in full and on time, but what was promised to us was NOT done. I can understand if we got a summer use of it it but not even ONE swim, with the same issue. Is about principle. Extremely poor customer service!!!! I called to have them come out to check out our pool liner that they installed 3 years ago because of water behind the liner. This is the second time they came out and did nothing. They said it was probably ground water and " I can live with it or buy a new liner". They never mentioned even attempting to remove the water or anything else. I called the office and asked to speak with the service manager and it has been a week and have not heard from yet. I went on you tube and researched a solution and had it fixed in an hour. CC Pools wanted me to purchase a new $5000 liner. I would have happily paid them to suck out the water but they didn't even offer just wanted a new liner sale. As far as I am concerned ever since Tom passed away service has gone down hill as with most kids they cannot handle the free business their parents gave them. The service people that showed up unannounced twice were extremely rude to my wife and talked down to her...zero empathy. Folks if you are looking for a new pool or any type of pool service don't call CC Pools. read more

Avoid. CC dug/built our free-form pool in 2021. Our unhappiness and issues have piled up since then. In 2021, we contacted them immediately regarding a spot in the finish on one of our steps. We were assured it would be addressed per the owner. Again, we emailed Holly (office employee) as it had been a year already and still had not been addressed. We were assured again it would be looked into. Nope. We were told it was due to a lady, Eva, leaving a mess for them and they would get organized and back with us. The first Fall, they took chunks out of the pool deck concrete when drilling for the safety cover anchors. Our coping began to crack (not due to settling) when we reopened the first spring. They replaced the coping that was damaged; however, left chunks in the pool and many of the new coping pieces were left without mortar to properly finish the job. Again, the coping continued to crack and we were told the coping we had was causing issues for others as well and they would cover it under the manufacturer warranty. We were to come in and pick out a new coping, they would do a complete tear out, and put in new coping. This was in 2023. Now, it is 2024 and we have been told it won't happen until next season, 2025. Every opening so far, they opened our pool and never power-washed as they said they do (it is included per their website). This past summer, they tightened the salt cell so much our strap wrench couldn't open it and my husband took apart the piping and had to out it in a vice to separate the joints. They billed us an insane amount as they claim someone came out and did it the following day (we were home and no one showed, as well as WE got it open already the day prior). Holly then left a vmail threatening collections for it. So, save yourself 75k - 100k and go elsewhere. Your problems, after you pay for your pool, won't get remedied, they demand payments for incomplete work and imaginary service. They move on to gathering new jobs for more money from new customers and leave you with their shoddy work. I don't know how Craig, the owner, is ok with how poorly organized his service and office is. There are clearly irrefutable consistencies throughout customer complaints. read more

Called today and spoke to a very nice lady. My neighbor uses them to service his pool, since I have a lot of respect for his judgement I called CC Pools. Bottom line they're happy to take you $$$$$ to install pumps, filters etc. but they don't want to establish an ongoing relationship. They're business model appears to be "hit and run" I'm looking for a pool company that will maintain not only my equipment but also keep my pool going through the months that its open. Worse company ever. I hired them to blow my inground pool water lines out. They never lower the water below the skimmer and didn't use pool antifreeze for the lines. Basically all the water was still in my skimmer and water lines. Lucky I caught it and didn't have any damage to my pool. A freeze would have busted my lines and skimmer basket. read more

If you want CC Pools to build your pool, it's ok, but DO NOT use them for anything else!!! I called them after our opening this spring (which they charge almost $400) for something they they did not do. Not a big deal, so I told them it was no hurry, just stop by whenever it was convenient. Over 3 weeks later, they stopped and finished what should have been done during opening. Sweet, our pool is finally up and running properly, well at least until they sent me an additional bill for a service call for almost $200!!! Are you kidding me! CC Pools pool service has become HORRIBLE! They have always been, a little slow to respond to service calls, but now they are flat out overcharging. Extremely disappointed!!! read more

Terrible customer service! They do a terrible incompetent work. Got the run around from the beginning. They can't even tell you when someone will be out. When the crew arrives, they do the job half way and claim they'll come back to complete. This was for a pool opening. This was a week long process. Still not complete! read more

We called them 2 times in April and they said they would stop by and quote our concrete pool project. Never heard from them. Contacted five times to come out and discuss renovation or a new pool. Staff indicated the owner would call. Started process in May and now November and no communication. I have to assume business is to good to consider a six figure pool project. Wish them well but my dollars will be spent with companies who have the respect to return calls to potential new customers. read more

Absolutely horrible company. First, they didn't return my call for weeks after leaving multiple messages. When we finally do meet with them to discuss our in-ground hot tub build, they never follow up. After repeatedly brow-beating them for weeks about the job, they send a one-line quote with no specifics and had none of the things we had talked about. Ask for clarification and it's crickets for weeks, after which the guy tells me he was on vacation (BS). A couple more weeks go by and still no updated quote or explanation of services. Call back and finally speak to someone and they say that for sure they'll reach out next week when the guy is not out in the field. That was 3 weeks ago. In the meantime, we asked them during our initial consult to schedule someone to come out and open our pool. They gave me a date in April because May was already fully booked up for them. Day of opening, no call, no show. I call them up and they tell me that they had me down for May (more BS, because both my wife and I specifically remember them saying that they had no availability in May). Then they said they'd fit us in the next week. Next week comes. Again...no call, no show. Don't waste your time with these unprofessional and inconsiderate people. They effectively cost us the whole season on our new tub because we thought we had someone that was going to do the job and now everyone else is fully booked the rest of the season. Apparently, these clowns don't like money, so don't think that offering them yours will get you anywhere. Find another pool company. read more
