Despite Oktoberfest being well underway, on this Saturday afternoon there was no waiting to pay the entrance fee and only a minute or so to wait for the next elevator to whisk me to the enclosed observation deck. So far, all of this is completely accessible.
The enclosed observation deck is a full 360 degrees view and you can walk all the way around. Etched on the glass are pointers that tell you what that structure is off in the distance. That was helpful. There is also the Rock Museum (which is not about stones but is actually about music). It was not crowded at all.
At this point, the handicap accessible ends. There is a stair case up to an open area (bars to prevent people from going over) and then *another* set of stairs for a completely unobstructed view of the skyline with no bars. It was windy as heck and I was a little worried that it would take my phone out of my hands.
The view? Amazing. All the way to the horizon. Simply beautiful!
