Jose is the man! Kind and courteous. I had problems with the screen they fixed and he exchanged it with no hassle and even threw in a free tempered glass screen protector for the inconvenience. I've been too many iPhone repair shops but you really can't beat the prices and customer service at BMR. Thanks again for the help, I'll definitely be back in the future. read more

A small tiny shop that was super friendly. I broke my iphone 6 screen and I set up an appointment to get it repaired. Had an amazing groupon deal and they were able to repair it within 15 minutes. After dropping my iphone off, I went out for a quick walk down the street to get a quick snack near a huge variety of foods and came back with my Iphone all fixed. Honestly, I usually never give five stars but this spot totally deserves it. They are the go to for phone repairs! Prices are competitive and customer service is amazing. I got my screen fixed and had an issue with my phone not being fully functional after repairs and not being informed about the issues before paying. Wasted time getting the screen put back on but they were nice enough to at least put the original screen back and a refund. Polite people, fast service but fell off with me because of that incident. Good for quick fixes. read more

First off, if you have a broken phone, they try to charge you a $25 inspection fee where the retard just looks at the phone as if they were doing anything. They look at it for about 10 seconds and boom 25 dollars out of your pocket. They "inspected my phone", broke the screen and refused to pay me for it or replace it. But instead telling me that they didn't charge me an inspection fee when they should have. How are these thieves open. I would not recommend. Their repairs are mediocre at best. Not a flush finish. If you buy from Groupon be prepared to pay an "inspection" fee from the crooks. read more

No call during the wait, no warning, no authorization from me. They had installed a higher quality screen -- described as a technician error. I explicitly could not afford this. That is why I agreed to the $49 option in the first place. I did not request an upgrade. I did not authorize a price change. When I declined, I was asked to either wait longer while they reinstalled the original screen or return the next day. I had already waited 90 minutes and had neither the time nor the money for options I never agreed to. The final amount charged was $22. If this was genuinely an accident, the resolution would have been immediate and the original $49 honored without negotiation. Confirm your price in writing before leaving your device here.

I arrived at the shop with my laptop, and the employee working said there was no order for me, which was confusing because the owner had been so communicative. He said he would order the part and it would be there later that week and I agreed to come back. I got a text confirmation with my order number and everything. Fast forward a week and a half: silence. Nothing. I replied to the order confirmation text asking if it had arrived, and I don't know if it went through or not, but it's just weird they wouldn't have the part by now or some kind of update. I gave up, bought a kit on Amazon for $35, and installed it myself in 10 minutes. I don't know where this project fell apart, but if the shop didn't want to take it on, they could have declined it. I'm just confused by lack of follow-through because they have so many good reviews, and I thought I had done everything I could, both in person and online, to confirm I wanted the service.

I dropped my phone twice, and the third time, it cracked in many pieces. I couldn't even type my passcode to unlock the phone - it was that bad. I was driving home on Pico Boulevard headed east when I saw this shop. I made a U turn to check it out. I was greeted by Jose. He could tell that I'm flustered and desperate to get my phone back in working condition. He said "no problem. It'll be 30-45 minutes, if that's okay." Damn, he asked me "if waiting for 30 minutes was okay?" I didn't know which planet I was in for a moment. Jose was so nice, professional, courteous and has a darn cute smiling face. I will definitely recommend this repair shop to all my friends, family and colleagues. This shop was recommended to me by a friend. I was apprehensive at first, because the last time I had my phone repaired on Melrose, it costs me an arm and a leg (ok, just an arm). When I found out how much they were charging, I was surprised. This young dude, Jose, was the one who took care of me. He's so awesome, knowledgeable at what he does and more importantly so freakin courteous, which in today's climate, is very rare. I'm Happy that I came to get my IPhone 6 Plus Space Grey Fixed. I needed a new Battery and it wouldn't charge on top of the fact certain apps will pop up with out me even touching it and my phone was pretty busted, with it being open and all my wires were showing we had to do a Full Diagnostics on the phone to Test it internally because again it had no power. I'm Glad I went threw with it because the battery was going bad and starting to swell and don't won't my phone to blow up of course while I'm talking on the phone.
