I've been making ukuleles since the 1980s, and have had 5 excellent instructors, besides learning from several other well-known experts. Les is the best. He has very deep and broad understanding, and knowledge. He has thoughtfully developed novel jigs and methods. And is a superb teacher. Incredibly, and thankfully, he has a mellow personality, too, a nice departure from high-strung uke-makers. You'll create a beautiful. excellent sounding instrument, and will enjoy the process. Want to build your very own Koa ukulele well here at ByTadashi LLC we will teach you how. At ByTadashi LLC we supply you with all the material you will need. Come joins us as September 21st we will have registration from 2:30pm to 4:30pm for our September 28th class. Classes are Saturday from 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm. Come join us

History

Established in 2019.

Les “Tadashi” has been building ukuleles since 2000 he held the first ukulele building class back in 2004. Through the years he has been known for his footprint ukulele design. He does custom ukuleles but wants to be able to share his talent with everyone. He has reopened his doors and invites you to join him in building your very own ukulele.

Meet the Business Owner: Les O.

Les “Tadashi” was born on Oahu. He has been a carpenter by trade for many years. Being a carpenter has taken him all over the Hawaiian Islands. Where he now resides in Hilo. His passion is fishing and building ukuleles.
