My question was why did the young lady just didn't tell me that there was no manager on duty but they go and search high and low for another African-American woman to tell me, this was real questionable. Chase y'all have to do better. I think she just wanted to embarrass me in front of everybody which she did. I was not aggressive didn't show any anger with her or anything for her to do that to me.

Would deposit $20 every couple of years when I was in the area to keep it from going into State conservatorship. Never used the passbook for deposits. Just a note and a deposit slip. I closed the acct one month short of the 50 yrs, only to find out they've been charging $2 a month since 2020 for inactivity, only resetting for a year when I made a deposit. Total fees $88. Called to ask for a refund. Marda, the manager, wasn't there. They stated she'd call back. Never did. I've never known a bank to charge a inactivity fee for a saving acct with a good amount of money in it ($945). 45 yrs without a charge. Not sure if the bank changed hands in 2020. Since the acct is closed there is no motivation for them to do anything. Good memories of the acct, until now.
