I did feel like the salad with chicken I ordered was incredibly meat heavy with very little salad and I didn't love that the bell peppers included aren't listed on the menu, but their hummus was mouthwateringly delicious. The service was prompt and the meal came with gratis baklava and ice cream as well as tea, but I didn't partake since we were walking so much. All in all, it was a good meal but definitely a bit different than expected from the menu.

The patio is wonderful and they have a nicely decorated interior dining room with a Byzantine theme, as well as an open kitchen and grill where you can watch them cook the delicious kebabs and meats. They offered us a delicious baklava and ice cream as a "free" dessert. Plus the prices are not bad, considering it's in such a touristic area. It's about half what I paid at some other places. Service is great. The food is very fresh. Highly recommend if you are in Fatih or nearby in the Sultanahmet area.

Through some investigation, I figured out the name of this restaurant. We all were looking forward to resting our feet and having lunch. I ordered the kofte lunch, with fries, rice, and veggies. I also got Turkish tea. Our meals came with desserts. The kofte was tasty and perfect. I wish that there were more fries and veggies. Otherwise, the meal was yummy. I fell in love with Turkish tea in Istanbul. The tea was perfect. The sweets were yummy, too. It wasn't overly sweet. The washrooms are upstairs. This restaurant may not be the best for folks who require accessibility access. The various glass lamps hanging from the ceiling are beautiful. I'm glad that we stopped here for lunch. This was our first meal in Istanbul and it did not disappoint. We got the mixed platter, testi kebab and a side of yogurt dip (delicious!). Testi kebab : lots of showmanship, ok flavor, I'd skip it unless you want a cool video. Mixed platter : chicken (kebabs and wings) were very nicely seasoned and had good char. I recommend getting those. The beef in Turkey in general has a weird funk that I did not care for so I was keen on getting anything with beef all that much. What really struck me was how good the lamb was. No funky smell, wonderful char and well seasoned (just good amount of salt, nothing complicated). I could polish off as entire plate of those lamb chops myself.

Then he started arguing and stopped in front of the menu and told me to go away. I told him you're a moron and started walking away. I heard him say you're a moron too. Then I continued walking away from the restaurant. Then he came running behind me then he cursed me. So I turned towards him and punched him into his upper chest. Then he punched me with a strong fist into my face and my nose started bleeding very heavily. Local folks from the neighboring restaurants started assisting me, gave me lots of napkins, and ice to help stop my bleeding. While I'm thankful to the neighboring restaurants, this is a memory that I'll take with me that will last forever. I attached a picture of my face 12 hours after the incident showing the swelling under my eye. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
