I explained how I like it done and she sat me down and went to work. These days not many people take pride in thier work. Not so with Jennifer, she listened to all my requests and gave me the best haircut I have had in many years. I will from now on be one of her loyal customers! She is very skilled in her trade, and loves her job, it shows in her work. She did not rush through the haircut even though it was the end of the day,she took time and her attention to details is amazing! I came here for a badly needed haircut and beard trim when I was visiting for a family reunion…read more I walked in to a well kept shop which had several people waiting. I was told it would be about 20 minutes because they were busy. There was no sign-in but everyone told me the order they had arrived in so I knew when to go. After about 20 minutes, it was my turn and I was welcomed to the chair. The barber asked what kind of haircut I wanted and I referred to a poster they had at the front with many different haircuts and she knew what I wanted right away. She asked me a few relevant questions and started cutting my hair. I really enjoyed that she was friendly and asked me questions about my hair and a couple others about me, but other than that, kept the conversation to a minimum. I really appreciated that. At some hair places, the hairdressers talk your ear off about their own personal lives and I'm just not into that. After she finished, she made sure I was satisfied and I asked her to trim a couple spots shorter which she gladly did. When she asked if I wanted product, she put some in my hair and gave me a small container free when I asked her where I could get it. I was really happy with the haircut and with the way she asked me questions along the way to make sure she was doing what I wanted. Cut and beard trim (and free product) came to only $12, which is way less than I pay at the chain shop back home. The only downsides were that the hair wasn't swept up before I came to the chair which meant that I had to step over like three other guys' hair, and that there was no sign-in so I had to ask who I was to go after. Not huge. Nothing super fancy, but a great, friendly, no frills cut with great customer service at a great price!
