First time trying this bakery. The pizza looks so good but we only tried sweets this time around. I forget what the coconut bar is called but it's so soft and topped with coconut flakes. I'll definitely have to go back to try the pizza!

A fantastic little bakery in south Evanston, with a large variety of bakery goods, focusing on bread and pizza. The pastries are also yummy, using high quality ingredients over a selection of traditional and chef created savories and sweets. I've tried the cookies, cinnamon roll, rosemary and Vienna breads. Let me not forget the yummy, perfect pretzel. It's soft and flavorful, and would most likely be delicious warmed up, but my pretzels have yet to make it home. This bakery is locally owned, by a local family. Supporting local businesses is a superpower, and I will put my money where my mouth is with this bakery and continue to help them grow. It's a lovely, ambient little space with very well designed layout and accoutrements. Warm and homey! Go support this wonderful new business.

Please please please bring back the chocolate crinkle cookies or my review will go down. Take this as a warning. Respectfully ;). Amazing service though.

Buttons Bakery just opened, but their pastries are already some of the best in town--flaky, not too sweet, and super fresh. The space is bright and warm.

    Yummy giant pretzel (only $2.50)!!

Lovely little neighborhood bakery. Delightful scones and peanut butter cookies... yum! Great bread ready for those summer tomatoes.

Wow, what a cool place! I've never seen anything like it. They had so many different seating areas…read moreincluding an outdoor patio, a room with picnic tables and vintage cars, a bar area with high tops and open windows, and a fourth section with picnic tables, stage and bar. Since Pride Bingo was going on in the latter, we chose a spot there. Service was outstanding the entire evening! They had plenty of staff who were actively busing tables and who were available if we wanted additional drinks. Being vegan, I ordered the nachos and warm pretzels. Both were absolutely delicious! Bingo night was fun. They had fun interesting prizes for each game as well as a raffle at the end for $100.

I'm not much of a beer drinker and rarely make it to the bars these day (#old), but my first…read morethought when walking in was how have I not been to an event here. It's spacious and a super cool venue, which was used for my daughter's high school fundraiser last weekend. I visited Double Clutch twice within one week. The first was a meeting held at the venue right before the event where everyone got to enjoy some beer (except those of us who don't love beer and opted for water) and some of the food that would be served at the event the following weekend. I munched on some turnbuckle pretzels, fried buffalo bites and cauli wings- all were pretty good! A few days later we sold out with a 300 person event, although honestly we could have fit way more in the space because there was plenty of room to move around. The band Go Ask Your Mum was playing lots of fun 80s and 90s hits, there was a buffet of the food we had tried a few days beforehand and the bar was busy. I opted for wine, which was good. The acoustics here aren't great, which i noticed during the meeting and during the event. The band was fun to listen to, but i could hardly hear anyone i was speaking to. But that's really my only complaint since it's a great space!

Garage looking type of brewery in Niles in some industrial type of building. It seems there's a lot…read moreof these, but this is among the good ones. Une Annee is one of the reasons to go to this pretty boring looking suburb. Hit up the bar for some cold ones plus on site made food. The prices aren't bad for craft beers and kitchens. A pretty impressive looking building. It's big and can fit hundreds. This is like a massive garage with a bar and a kitchen. First though it's a brewery. It's about $6 a pint. The one I liked the most was the Twist Of Wit. It's a wheat beer with Cara Cara oranges, coriander, and Meyer lemon. Tasted fruity but not too much. Also we got some food, which was actually good for a brewery. Vegan options are limited but there's a few. It's $6 for the Veggie Chili. This is vegan without the sour cream sauce. Also there's barbecue. There's pork belly and that kind of stuff. Beers are the best things to get here. It also has food from an on site kitchen. There's meaty options like pork and there's chili for vegetarians.

The day we came happened to be the day of the Kentucky Derby (side note - I picked the winning horse, though I did not bet on it!), so there was a good crowd of adults and kids alike. Although we did not order any food, the food selections coming from the kitchen looked good. Our friend favors the smoked sweet potato dish. I did like the sour kriek, though the Fresh IPA was so good that we bought a 4-pack to take home. Service was pleasant and efficient, and there is also a spacious outdoor patio.
