These guys aren't butchers...at least in the definition of the craft. They are more like those butchers in horror movies as they clearly don't know different cuts of meat and how they are prepared...they just seem to chop and saw wherever their blade might fall. My two packages of spare ribs, normally each would be a rack of ribs, but the butcher boys put in two cuts for each package that mostly missed the ribs. I've also bought brisket done by them and opened up to find the oddest looking brisket I've ever seen. I like to buy local farm raised meats and unfortunately, most of our local farmers use these guys for butchering. So if I want decent butchered central oregon meats, I have to do it myself (and I'm no butcher by any means). These guys are disgracing the craft and the animals they are "butchering". read more

I have been doing buiseness with Butcher boys last 20yrs or more! have tried every other prosseser in central Or at one time or another, I sloughter 15 to 20 head steers and 10 to 15 hogs every year, my customers are very satisfied with them year after year. They are the most consistant out of every prosseser in central Or, Their cutomer service is great from beggining to end.
