Beautiflul gardens which offer something for all the family on a day out. The gardens themselves are lovely and are home to the biggest collection of water lillies in a natural setting in the whole of Europe. There are also 8 acres of gardens to visit, including rock gardens, formal borders, a Victorian garden and a secret garden.
During the summer months the gardens host band concerts on a Sunday (see the website for dates).
In addition it is worth visiting the Stewart Museum which is attached to the gardens. It contains the fascinating collection of artefacts collected by Major Percy Marlborough Stewart, former owner of Burnby Hall, on his expeditions around the world.
