I am telling you to add Burgess Orchards to your Fall Bucket List! This place is awesome. You can buy peaches and apples from their orchard or buy peach ice cream and an apple cider slush from their stand. I absolutely recommend coming here before the season is over. I ordered the peach ice cream and it was SO GOOD. The ice cream is peach flavored with real peach slices from their orchard on the top and bottom of your ice cream cup. It was fresh and delicious. There was cinnamon in it that made it taste like a pie. Can't get much better than that! I do wish that there were more peaches in it because it was that good. Overall, the peach ice cream is the star of the stand. They also sell an apple cider slush. It was icy and tasted like a fresh apple. Really satisfying and a great fall slush. Cutest little orchard and they have the best ice cream (just vanilla but it's so good!) with delicious ripe peaches in the fall. They have times you can go pick your own apples which I've never done but sounds so fun! read more

This seems like a fun dessert to get on a hot day, and it looks great. After having finished the ice cream, I think I'll be going back for fresh fruit but passing on their treats. If this in fact actually ice cream, it is of a variety I've never tried before. It was very melted and it's consistency was that of a mix between pudding and sweetened condensed milk. Almost slimy and stringy. Not a good ice cream. The peaches also weren't very ripe which I found very disappointing as it is an orchard that is selling the dessert. I have been driving 45 minutes each summer/fall to visit Burgess Orchards for three years now! There is something about this cute little storefront for fresh fruit and veggies that just feels nostalgic! I love love love their fresh ice cream and apple cider slushes. My husband - who isn't a fan of peaches - "braved" the fresh peach ice cream and could not stop raving about how tasty it was. The blonde teenage girl taking our order on Saturday night was super rude and short. I get there's a line but she like plopped the card reader in front of my husband and didn't say anything she was like you're order number 8 and dropped it in front of us. Card reader wasn't even facing us haha. Maybe get some qualified people to do customer service. Didn't think it took much effort to take an order but I guess it does for some people. Just went to Burgess Orchards and loved their apple treats! We miss the picking due to the freeze but still enjoyed the treats. We got the slush with ice cream and the apple pie sundae. The sundae was so good with the apple and pie crust pieces! I could just eat the crust pieces all day, in cinnamon and sugar. The slush was good but glad we got ice cream to make it sweeter. The orchard is nice and they have good produce, but the peach shakes are not worth it. We got shafted on the amount of peaches and whipped cream they put on ours. We watched them run out of whipped cream while topping our first one and then proceeded to spray aerosol nothingness. After they finished ours they get more from the back to help the next customers with. The ice cream itself wasn't great either and tasted more like bubblegum than peaches. Yuck. read more

Drive out here to buy peaches and try the famous ice cream. So disappointed! The soft serve had a nice peach flavor, but the peaches on top were hard as a rock. They were so unripe, they were as hard as raw carrots. Kind of killed the spark, and so we passed on the $40 box of peaches. They are riper at my local Farmers Market. This 5 star review is based solely off their sundae's! They're absolutely to die for. So amazing. We get one per every season. The Cherry one is our personal fave, however the peach one is great. We have taken pictures once when their Apple orchards were going. I personally think it's a great place to get your fave fruit from if your fave fruit is what they're offering at that time. It's nothing absolutely insane produce wise, which isn't what they claim anyways. They specialize in what they specialize and it's great every time! read more
