Make sure to look at the specials on the chalkboard, as they can really surprise you! COCKTAILS: I have yet to find a better mixologist in Belgium as the one in Uncle Babes. All signature cocktails on the menu are delicious, and whomever I take to the restaurant I always recommend them to order something of-menu. A friend of mine ordered a sambucca cocktail once, and - after asking just a couple of questions and trying the flavour again since he became unfamiliar with it - the mixologist made the most amazing creation just based on his gut feeling. Normally the burger are either to dry, not enough meat or the buns overpower the burger. These burgers were perfection! The meat was cooked perfectly and juicy, the cheese melted to perfection, the bacon was crispy and delicious and the egg was fried awesomely. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They take cash, I made my reservation through their Facebook page, they answered right away. They have really great service. I took the four season burger which had a tofu/pumpkin patty which was delicious. The bun had a nice crunch to it and the buger was a nice size. Only downsides were that the patty was considerably smaller than the bun of the burger. My friends who ate beef and chicken did not have the same problem. Fresh burger buns tasty beef good fries and the prices were high but for a tourist area not outrageous. I should have asked if the iced tea was sweet, as I don't like sweet tea. It was...ah well... SO liked it just fine. Beer was cold & refreshing. Go in, place your order, pay and get buzzed when order is ready, then pickup your order & tables are outside or in. Friendly staff.
