The manager himself couldn't understand my very simple order request to keep certain ingredients off my burger. After 5 minutes of attempting to make my order itself understood it was incorrectly prepared and no receipt was given so future complaining was basically snuffed out. The food itself tasted to what you would expect from a Burger King but after having to dig through the burger it removes the little amount of dignity that burger already barely started with. All cashier staff had unfriendly faces and in general had a difficult time understanding basic German. Im advice is to avoid this Burger King, and get a meal from another nearby establishment instead.

I was…read moreprepared to order a Bratwurstsemmel, but a patron recommended I try the joint's specialty - the Bazibox, which is kind of a bowl concept with several Schweinebraten, Kartoffelknodeln (potato dumplings) and Blaukraut (sweet n sour purple kraut). The meat was tender and smoky, a little like pulled pork but chunkier and braised with a spicy beer sauce. The Knodeln and Kraut were marinating in the same stuff of course, and were just incredible. This is a take-away joint, but it's served in a Chinese food box so you can eat on the go or just stand right there and chow. Perhaps best of all, the chef is a nice guy, a refreshing change from the typical indifference one encounters from the businesses in this part of town.
