This university is RIT large into folklore. I'm surprised I haven't RITten about it before. I need…read moreto RIT myself of all my feelings about this place and this review is how I shall do that. So RIT on if you're interested. Is that alRIT with you? I'm not crazy about the police (and they usually follow me around campus if I'm visiting a girl on campus at 3am, which by the way I did a couple of times but let's keep that between you and me and not put it all over Yelp or anything), and I'm really not crazy about the prices! I looked into coming here a long time ago and even back then the tuition was insane. I come here to eat, drink, and be merry with aforementioned girl sometimes, and all of the stuff on campus is overpriced and annoying, much more expensive than at UB North in Buffalo, which also - it has to be said - has better options, too. It's a beautiful and very safe, leafy, suburban campus, though. Cars aren't allowed on the majority of it which makes it safe and peaceful and quiet. It's got some great sculptures and a lot of pretty smart people. Not a lot of attractive people (unless you're into geeks), but I do know at least one ridiculously attractive girl that goes here, and that's the only reason I've really ever spent any time on campus. If you go here, take a trip to Cha Chat Cafe for some Brown Sugar Milk Tea, and to Bombay Chaat House for some kebabs. Also give Schaller's Ground Round a try, Sodam for some Yuk Gae Jang, and Tsingtao for some real Chinese food.

This place is nothing but a bunch of stuck up people and a waste of money. Professors often don't…read moreknow what they're doing - can't answer questions properly, can't make a clear lesson plan, can't make adequate learning materials. They failed to give me accommodations for my autism. They failed to help me find any job to pay off the student loans. This place was the worst mistake of my life. Do not waste your money, do not go here. (Unless it's to get goodies from the dumpster on moving out day or steal toilet paper)

I took the 40-hour training for two weeks and was so excited to be able to put this on my resume. I…read morethought having this would almost guarantee me a bartending job. However, the more interviews I did for any bar position, the more I realized what a deterrent having this on your resume is. Most places are seeing this course as a scam and are annoyed by the fact that you were taught a different way than most places would train you. The simulations are all done with fake liquor and you're lucky if you try 3 of the drinks which would be made by the instructor anyway. Even the way they teach you to count a free-pour is something no bartender I know does or recommends. I should mention that as someone under 21, I was told by the instructing place, you could still try any real cocktails made because they were a private institution. That does not make it legal! If you're looking to learn how to set up an at-home-bar and are willing to spend $500 to show off the certificate, then go for it! They do give you the recipes to tons of drinks and the only real positive is that you are ServSafe certified, but that literally takes one day of the whole two weeks. If you are looking for recipes, I think I'd recommend Pinterest over this place. The bar that I now barback at, that has amazing cocktails and a whiskey selection that is bar-none the best, offers FREE teaching lessons. That should say it all.

My daughter cheers for a school here and Honolulu, Hawaii that has not had a uniform upgrade for some time. You can imagine the girls and parents excitement when the coaches of the cheer squad, along with parents decided to update the uniforms for this past football season. Now you can also imagine the disappointment when the uniforms arrived and all but two fit. Understanding that mistakes happen Alleson was made aware of the situation and has been nothing but a nightmare to work with. The football season is now over and the team has yet to wear the uniforms that we purchased for $221.00 per person. Alleson Athletics best recommendation on how to remedy the situation is to purchase a "fit kit" which would of course be at an additional cost. If you are looking for a company that puts their revenue above the customer experience then you are in the right place. If you value your dollar and feel that a company should care about the customer experience than I highly suggest that you go elsewhere.
