Grocery store has everything you might need for snacks and picnics (prepare sandwiches, salads) or if you're cooking from scratch. They also carry beers (but no Tylenol or other non-prescription stuff - for that you have to find a local pharmacy store -- unless you just need throat lozenges -- then they have a boatload to choose from). Key dessert item found at the store I shopped at: chocolate ice cream with a hint of red chili! Only downside? Just a tad expensive (compared to other some other countries). They do give back a couple of kroner for used plastic bottles, which is great. read more
