Before finding this place, I had always seen flowers to be plants that looked pretty for a few days and then died. I first came across Bunches when my previous work was getting flowers from them. Every week or two they delivered a bright, beautiful, new bunch of flowers distinct from the flowers we would have had the previous week. They were low maintenance, lasted for at least a week, looked and smelt great. Ever since I have always ordered flowers from here and would never go anywhere else. They have a large variety of flowers, with colours and smells to satisfy all tastes. The flowers are always arranged so beautifully and there always seems to be new and/or different flowers each time you pop in. The staff here are great too, always happy to help. They can give you any and all advice you might need on flowers. Even the delivery guy is helpful, he will come in and carefully place your flowers where you'd like them or help you out them in a vase and arrange them. My only advice is to get in early on busy times of the year to get the best of the best. But even on busy occasions such as Mother's Day, your guaranteed to find a beautiful bunch of flowers, even at the last minute, not just the flowers that no one else wanted. I can't recommend bunches (or bunches at Bulli) for flowers enough. read more

History

Established in 1997.

Over 25 years ago, Mr. Charlie Atsas followed his passion and put a few buckets of carnations outside his corner store in Bulli. Charlie was an electrician by trade, but had a passion for plants and fresh flowers. He approached some local service stations, convenience stores and fruit shops selling $5 and $6 bunches on consignment servicing them 2-3 times a week. For a few years he was selling his flowers to over 60 outlets from Austinmer to Shellharbour. In the 90′s, Charlie and his family decided to relocate to a new premises in Bulli (our current location) - 'Bulli Bunches'. Years later, as the business continued to bloom and his 3 children were now all working with him on a full-time basis they decided to sell the 'Flower Run' and establish their second store in Wollongong (current location) in 2005. Today, Charlie's 3 children run 2 thriving florist shops in the Illawarra and are known as Illawarra's leading florists stocking the largest va
