We went in & although we werent very hungry, the set menu for 2 seemed like it was too good value to pass up! We had bbq spare ribs to start, they were delicious, well cooked, slipped off the bone without much effort and a very tasty sauce. The second course was a soup... Or it was described as a soup. In our bowls arrived a thick gelatinous glob of mushed chicken & corn. It tasted of nothing more than tinned corn & if I was to make a guess I would say that the chicken & sweetcorn soup was nothing more than tinned corn in it's juices warmed up with a packet of diced chicken thrown in... It was gross & left me quite apprehensive about the mains. Our main arrived however & was delicious, we had beef & black been (I wasn't fond of this but I'm not a beef fan anyway, my other half thought it was delicious), prawn in king do (which was delicious & the prawns tasted super fresh) and garlic & chilli chicken which arrived just slightly after the other mains but was defo the star of the show.. Beautiful. I had boiled rice which was a little dry as it arrived out all stuck together in clumps. For dessert we both had banoffie. It was very tasty although for my preference, there'd have been more toffee & less cream! & this was followed by tea & a chocolate each Overall great value for money and decent enough food! Would I return, yes! I would just avoid the soup next time!

The Apple raspberry is delicious, they come in these pretty bottles with lovely labeling and are very reasonably priced. They also offer ciders here which are pretty tasty too! I'll be giving some of their other products a try soon, the Apple jam and tomato ketchup are on my list. They also sell really great crisps here so pick up a snack while you browse their Apple offerings! In the summer they offer camping so I'm looking forward to that as soon as it warms up! Very happy to be local to such a fine farm in Tipperary, stop in for sure!

THE APPLE FARM This is my favourite apple drink: The Apple…read moreFarm of Tipperary Sparkling Apple Juice. I have previously called this the champagne of apple juices and see no reason whatsoever to change my mind after my most recent tasting which came at the weekend when I bought a couple of bottles (€2.50 for a small bottle but well worth it) of this premium apple juice from The Pantry Stand in the Midleton Food Market. The Pantry obviously has good taste as this is available in their Midleton restaurant. How is it made? "This is a premium apple juice, made from premium apples, but once the juice is pressed, we treat it a bit differently. Instead of immediately bottling, we carbonate the juice by adding fizz. This is done using carbon dioxide gas, which is pumped into the juice in a special vessel. The juice is then cold-filled into our flip-top bottles, pasteurised, and labelled." For more info, look up their interesting website. I'm far from an expert on apple juices but have tasted quite a few in Europe, particularly in Austria and Switzerland, but never a sparkling one and never one as beautiful as this. This is magic and should be on the lists of more restaurants. Just a beautiful Irish product. The Apple Farm should be very proud of it.

Probably the best BBQ beef sandwich I've had anywhere in the world. Crisped cheese and fresh coleslaw on top, tangy BBQ sauce, tender meat -- I hope to finagle a return visit tomorrow! I, colleagues and family have frequented the cafe often but will never go again. I was simply shocked by how Cinnamon Alley is run/managed of late as witnessed in the recent free for all described below. The following issues occurred simultaneously and combine to warrant this review: 1. Toilets were dirty and not maintained. Major "no-no" anywhere and possibly a forgivable offense - however, the place was not busy and there were 5-6 staff working and many were idle. 2. While in the cafe (30 minutes in total) one customer was over charged and another not charged enough. Simple error, long day, people make mistakes. 3. Another customer was treated impatiently and with an attitude/air from the staff of "I don't want to be here - order already" (someone had a bad day - NEVER let that show to a customer) 4. The tables were not cleaned between customers who had to pile dirty dishes on to other tables.(unacceptable) Up to that point I was not in a mindset to critique. I know the food industry first hand - staff have bad days, accidents happen, tables get overlooked... but there was more: 5. The most dramatic event came when a group of 6-8 secondary school girls - in blue school unifor -and school bags bursted noisily into the cafe in pack formation and stormed into the food prep area, behind the counter and into the kitchen, talking, touching food perp areas, grabbing at items being the counter all in front of customers as staff passed a blind eye. I looked, and waited and looked for a manager/shift leader, - anyone with common sense to step forward and remove the girls from behind the counter but nothing. The pack of girls treated the business premises as their own kitchen with no adults around, let alone public customers. They were all so "at home" that it was extremely rude and offensive. 6. I was further shocked to see one of the young schools girl's in school uniform and backpack swan into the cafe, behind the counter, pick up some food (no hand washing, no gloves) proceed into the kitchen, back out and in front of two customers attempt to open the till to get cash! How inappropriate for customers to witness. (I appeared that the girl was related to the owner but I can not confirm) The girls actions were still unforgivable by management. Overall, nobody was running the ship, it was adrift and ragged. The food quality has slipped and the service, which was never great - was abyssal and carried out by drones rather than worked who had any respect for the job, the management or themselves. I am so saddened as I like the idea of the local business very much and would do anything to support local. However, I felt compiled to voice this opinion in the hope that management wake up and take note of how loose the place has become. There were too many staff present for such negligence.
