I now try to make my purchases in their retail location on 47th street because now that they see my face its more personal and they know what I like to buy, they inform me of new sales for products that I like. I am surprised to see all those great reviews since my experience was very, very, VERY BAD ... Ordered through their website and waited for like a week (NYC to NY, 1-2 days shipping time) on 6/25/2017. After not receiving my order, tried to contact them through the chat/email features of their website, just to get typical responses blaming the USPS etc and always with a delay. Days later, they informed me the USPS had lost the package so I asked for a replacement, only to get the response they cannot do that until the investigation is over...like it was my problem that the usps lost it or my obligation to wait forever. At some point they promised to give me an update by 7/12/2017 and on that day they stopped responding to my emails. Only after I disputed the charge with paypal someone called me and promised a solution. Almost twenty days after the order was placed, they finally told me a manager approved a replacement for me. Ever since, and over a course of 5-6 days, I called THREE TIMES for an update (7/13/2017, 7/17/2017 & 7/18/2017) and the response EVERY TIME was "it is getting shipped to you this evening". Disgusted from all the lies, I asked for a refund and I am never ordering from that place again. read more

Never buy from this scam of a company. I am hearing a lot and know others too with problems. For example, they rightfully ship requiring signatures but fail to take responsibility if an item does not arrive! They don't care if the carrier lied (who is going to admit they messed up, right!)... they want you to go door to door during a pandemic, even at risk and disabled, to do THEIR job investigating! They do not investigate the postal carrier or systems fraud of NOT providing signatures given! Instead, the PO fills in something (and don't give me this BS about they sign for you because of covid crap.... that's ripe for fraud! why ask for and get a signature, leave little pieces of paper etc. in the first place then!)! As anyone knows unless explicit agreements were made (which they were not) every business and seller and shipper is responsible for getting the customer their merchandise. PERIOD! You insure or self insure then. And don't tell people to fraudulently file a police report when sitting here in our homes or businesses we have no idea what happened or if you even shipped! HOW COULD WE???!!! So either refund or replace immediately or get YEARS worth of bad publicity online etc... is it worth it to you? As long as we tell the truth you cannot stop us! 2/12/2018 update: You use the word "cull coin" I simply used "culled" in the term cherry-picked. At the same time you were selling other people damaged coins (look at their eBay reviews) you were selling encapsulated graded coins. There are other definitions of BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) that preclude ANY damage that one can peruse. I've been collecting since the 60's and have only seen damaged coins sold at a discount. Bullion Exchanges sold a coin as a pre-sale and elected to send out a damaged coin. Was this a reward because I explained to your telephone agent I was disabled and had only limited budget for coins each year? You might go listen to our recordings of your sales agents whom on two (maybe 3?) occasions called me prior to me receiving the damaged coin, before you post on a public forum, I know what I heard (a man called me when I was called). eBay is the forum you sell, they have a return policy, you did not have to go out of your way to offer a refund, they require you to do that. Beside refund you are required to pay shipping for the return, which your agent attempted to get me to do. I bought the coin as a pre-sale. You charged my credit card immediately and delayed shipment. The price of these coins went through the roof. I cannot afford (disabled with limited budget) to return and buy another. I never once called your agents (before or) after I received this damaged coin, again check your recordings. You may find several attempts of my emailing your company about the damaged coin. I did not receive a reply until I got eBay involved. Your time spent defending the coin, instead of simply exchanging the coin for one that was not damaged rather than defending sending me a damaged coin, was Bullion Exchanges choice may have been better spent? To now suggest I'm somehow not representing this correctly will not go unnoticed. It's a coin that I am relaying my purchase experience to others so that they may be aware. I have every email and I can obtain my phone records. I also have this damaged coin. I'd also like to mention the reply to my rating by Bullion Exchanges was posted by Jane S. identified as Business Owner of Bullion Exchanges. Rather than simply sending me a new case, which was a standard case available through any coin supply store, Bullion Exchanges insisted that I PAY to ship the case and coin back for an exchange or refund. Had Bullion Exchanges been paying for the return shipping this would have been fine, after all, the item was damaged when I received it; however, that was not the case. A local coin dealer in my area sales the same display case as that which Bullion Exchanges had used for this particular coin, price: $3.50, much cheaper than the cost of shipping the entire case and coin back to Bullion Exchanges, $6.95. That in short was the dispute. Did Bullion Exchanges offer to pay for the return shipping for an item damaged during shipping? NO! Did Bullion Exchanges offer to replace or reimburse me for the cost of a new case which I purchased locally (as described above) NO! Did Bullion Exchanges offer to assist with filing a claim through the USPS for the damaged item? NO! But rather, Bullion Exchanges suspends my account, was rude and uncooperative. Sure wish I had paid more attention to...Sure wish I had paid more attention to the reviews.I have bought from BE many times thru Ebay with no problems.I thought I would try their web site to save a few bucks and lost over 6k with them.I places three separate orders three days in a row thinking they would ship each order when my checks cleared- like they stated. Instead, they shipped all three orders in one medium flat rate box from the PO.My orders were: 2-100oz silver bars--another 2-100 oz silver bars,and 2-100 dollar face value silver coins. That would be about 41 pounds of silver.First they sent shipping info to the wrong email and when I finally got that straightened out my order was here-at the PO. The postal girl had the box on her side of the desk and there was no apparent damage to the box. When i got home and opened the box the only thing in the box was the two bags of 100$ face value coins. I immediately returned to the post office and talked to the receiving clerk and the front desk clerk. They both verified that the package had some weight but no where 41 pounds.I've asked BE for pictures of their packaging and also for the receipt form the PO but they won't/can't provide them.BE evidently has private insurance and once you sigh for the package they no longer cover the loss even if you can prove the package didn't have the contents stated.There was a hole in the shipping box that had been repaired. It was big enough to allow one bar to poke thru the side at a time. The post office said they do not repair mail and there should have been a "damaged box" report with the box.
