It's not because of my love of mystical sea Gods. I think it's because it has remained good. A reliable, steadfast place guaranteed to do a decent chip. That right balance of greasy and crisp. The daily papers are available to read, along with some magazines. It's a relaxing place to take a break, and conveniently situated in Queens Road, but the outstanding feature is its difference to other cafes. The owner is clearly trying to think laterally, and to realise a particular dream. Given Hastings' tastes for the non-conformist, I really hope the cafe succeeds.
