This guy knows his stuff! I travel a lot of miles to go to this office because I like the chiropractor so much.

In my early 50's, and my feet have never bothered me except for two times: Once when I was 17 working in a warehouse, walking around on concrete all day in converse. Another time working a janitorial job in a school (20k steps a day) and again last summer working in a retail store (20k steps a day). By the end of the day I'd be hobbling when getting out of my car at the end of my shifts. I tried fancier shoes and some of those Dr. Scholls inserts, and they seemed to help very temporarily, but nothing lasting. Even saw my doctor who wasn't able to offer me much except a referral to PT and NSAIDs. I skipped it because I did that a few years earlier w/ a shoulder, and didn't have great luck. Decided to do a google maps search and see someone local who does nothing but feet, who could see the kind of feet that I have, and what I should do about them. Dr. Brandi was able to quickly assess and make recommendations followed up with an email with several links for shoes, slippers, sandals, and shoe inserts. I bought 3 of the inserts she recommended to use in shoes I currently have, plus a great pair of slip on house shoes, and now my feet feel amazing!!! I had been thinking about going to that good feet store they keep advertising on TV constantly and I'm so glad I didn't. This was the most affordable option by far.

Being gifted with terrible shoulders, I've seen physical therapist many times in different states…read moreover 25 years. I have had by far the best success at Trails End - Sue and Dawn are excellent. In the past 5 years, I've needed PT for a swimmer's shoulder injury and after surgery for a ruptured achilles tendon. Both times my PT with Sue and Dawn was crucial to a good outcome, allowing me to return to swimming and hiking, skiing, etc. They are patient, thorough, kind yet tough (PT hurts! but stick to it). I have no question that I would return to Trails End should I need PT again in the future.

Since that time I have been treated with respect and courtesy every time I visit or call, and have never had any problems with The Doc or his staff. Moving to N. California for a couple of years I was forced to see a different podiatrist who could not offer the quality of service I received at Santiam Foot Clinic. I was very glad to return to Oregon and reconnect with this office. My wife is also a patient here, and has also received great care. Dr. Callahan always asks me about her during my visits, and is always friendly and caring. He enjoys his job and loves people, and it shows in his behaviour. You can expect to be regaled with a variety of stories while he tends to your digits and I frequently find myself in near hysterics at his tales, but this never detracts from the medical professionalism with which we are treated. Whenever I visit I'm greeted warmly and professionally at the front desk, and when I've had billing questions (which has been rare) they've been handled courteously.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The office manager, April (who also happens to be the doctor's…read morewife), is unbelievably rude, unprofessional, and downright combative. She racially profiled a patient and refused to listen when I tried to explain that, as the administrator of a self-funded Taft-Hartley (union) plan, only certain people have access to my records. Ever heard of PHI or HIPAA? Clearly not--especially given some of your unprofessional responses to negative reviews. To make matters worse, she refused to see the patient despite a valid insurance ID card, falsely claiming it was "expired." It wasn't. The date on the card simply indicated when it was last revised. But rather than admit her mistake, they doubled down and refused service. Absolutely unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs. If this is how they treat patients before even stepping into the exam room, I can only imagine how careless they are with actual medical care.

I came in with neck and lower back pain, explaining I had been working long & hard hours in my garden, and my neck, back & hips were all hurting, and in need of relief. After 2 appointments, with no real relief, my thoughts were "they didn't even do X-rays" to see what was going on "structurally' with my spine... as both my neck & back muscles were being afflicted by a continuous pain. I then remembered that my parents had gone to Kuns Chiropractic, in Gresham. On my very 1st appointment, I had "digital x-rays," taken, prior to any attempted adjustment"... Dr Kuns just said "let's see what's going on"! What those digital photos showed, was that I had 2 areas of immediate concern, with the 1st in my neck, and the 2nd was a pronounced, s-curve / abnormality of my mid spine. One clinic was going in "BLIND", and the other was purposefully being very professional & conscientious. Barbara S.

I had chiropractic treatments 25 years ago for sciatica in NH, and my leg pain symptoms after the accident felt similar. I want to highly recommend this clinic and all the staff who treated me. Dr. Chris Johnson, the chiropractor, is very skilled, sought to thoroughly understand my needs, was very clear in his explanations and helped me tremendously. His physical therapist, Kate, is gentle, knowledgeable and effective. I tried acupuncture for the first time ever, and David the acupuncturist explained everything very well, alleviating my concerns; while I am not scared of needles, I was a bit wary. The treatment was very relaxing, mostly pain-free and I'm very glad I tried it. Finally, I must applaud my massage therapist, Faren, who seemed to work miracles. She was so booked up that I didn't get to see her until later in my course of treatment, and this week, on only the second massage appointment with me, found the "trigger spot" in my hip that seemed to finish the elimination of my pain. After my recent session with her I felt so much better, I was able to walk my dog again for half-mile intervals, sleep through the night with no drugs, and generally feel very close to being fully healed. Faren is extremely skilled and I can see why her schedule is full! I believe it was likely the combination of all these therapies that helped me, and I absolutely value all of their coordinated efforts. The front desk staff are the icing on this cake, as they are efficient, professional, friendly and extremely helpful. This was one of the best health care experiences I have ever had!
