We recently adopted a ten year old, chonky tuxedo cat who, we knew, was in need of at least some dental work. After the great people at Jean Fromm Veterinary Clinic made sure he was healthy enough for sedation, WSDCOS took a good look at him and found lots of problems. So many problems that we were a bit concerned for his well being given his age and health history. In the end, WSDCOS had to remove 15 teeth, which left us quite concerned for his long term well being. Well, that was a month ago and our cat, Bob, is doing amazing! The oral surgery was an unqualified success! It's only now that we can tell how much discomfort Bob was in before his dental work. He's much more playful (even 'kitten-like'), he likes nose rubs (which is new), and he enjoys cheek and chin scratches, which made him pull away before. It's obvious he's now the the healthiest he's been in literally years. Huge THANK YOU to WSDCOS and Jean Fromm Vet Clinic for taking such great care of our Bob. He now has a lot of healthy, and dental pain free, years ahead of him.

When I got there, they were very fast, thorough, didn't try to sneak in any additional work, and they were all very caring. Dr. Kira Funderburk is amazing!! She's personable, explains everything, and does her absolute best to help you. Preslee the Hygienist and Jen (I believe she's an assistant) were both great as well. The best welcome was the office dog Klaus who helps you feel at ease! My hygienist Amanda was very friendly, welcoming and did a great job at my teeth cleaning. The Dentist was also very nice and I was happy to hear no cavities! This is definitely my new dentist office. It's clean, nice views and welcoming!

I have dental insurance and I kept getting a bill I owe money. I called and they said insurance…read moredenied payment. I call the insurance company and they say Grand Dental did not send required paperwork. I relayed the information to Grand Dental, they said they would resubmit the claim, I get another bill, I call again and insurance says, they didn't send the right paperwork. I have asked for my entire chart to get it sent and I have yet to receive it. I called again today and was told the release forms are on the website and they are NOT on the website, I got hung up on during a call to cancel and get the right paperwork. Don't go here if you have insurance and want it billed to insurance, they will drop the ball.

He has always provided excellent quality, highly professional care. He also has several key talents that are essential to a dentist's or physician's repertoire--being a great listener, and truly compassionate and kind to every patient addressing their needs, fears, and answering questions. His hygienist staff are also excellent--thorough and gentle. If you need a dentist, you'll never do better than Dr. Larsen and his team! He and all of his staff were great and helped get through some painful procedures with jokes and a smile. I am such a chicken when it comes to dental work that I had to take my prescription anxiety medication before arriving. I also requested the nitrous gas. I did not even know when Dr. Johnson gave me the injection to numb my mouth. I did not feel hardly anything. He said he injected the medicine really slow. It went much better than I thought and before I knew it he was done. My tooth felt great. I was able to eat dinner this evening and I have no tooth pain. He is the best dentist I have ever gone to in 30 years!! Great with people with dental anxiety!! I been going here for 7 years and lived all over in Denver and also New York and Texas. I thought once he looked at the damage, we would make an appointment later down the road to make the repair, but Dr Davis asked me if I wanted it fixed immediately. I said yes and within 20 minutes I had a completely repaired veneer on my most visible front tooth. Painless and fast......all my favorite goals when visiting the dentist. Dr. Davis's whole team is the best and keep me wanting more. Next time I'm hoping for a nice root canal or a deep gum cleaning. Can't wait. Maybe I'll start flossing.

When I first met Dr. Davis, my current dentist was wanting to pull all of my old fillings and replace them at a wonderful cost to me. Dr. Davis not only shot new X-rays, fixed a hole in the filling my previous dentist had just done, and did a full exam deciding on only needing a small number of fillings, he also worked out a payment plan for me for my co-pay. Dr. Davis also worked with me when my wisdom teeth were pulled by referring me out to a great oral surgeon, but also by doing some in office care so I didn't have togo between the offices. His staff is always friendly, and just amazing. Dr. Davis and his staff make you feel at home as they immediately are using your name as soon as you walk in the office and remember small details about your life (remembered I was leaving for law school, the school I was going to and when I was leaving). I'd been seeking, but not in earnest, a dentist since I'd moved to GJ 1.5 years ago. When I felt an…read moreodd feeling in my upper left mandible, the search became more serious. I Googled and I Yelped and I found the Dental Associates of Grand Junction. With nary a negative review, I gave them a call. It was Ashley who answered the phone and to whom I described my desire for a good teeth cleaning and also that odd pain and she knew exactly what I needed well before I did. We got a cleaning on the books for a month or so out, but Ashley insisted that if I had a bad tooth she could get me in in no time. Which she did. Two days later I was in the office and Dr Scott confirmed I had a cracked tooth (my first in my nearly 40 years) and if we got it taken care of I might be able to avoid a root canal...which, let me tell ya, was a great relief! A referral to an endodontist, confirmation of the crack and, an actually quite lovely, three hours in *the chair* (replete with panoramic views, bird feeders and myriad bird species) to take my tooth down, build a new one in the basement (that's amazing, amiright??), all while I had a chai and watched the birds and the landscape we all love of Grand Junction. So, thanks Ashley, Dr Scott & all of DAGJ, for taking me in, making me well, cleaning my teeth, being fun and pleasant, and offering an ornithological adventure, too :)
