Located along avenue Pres Tancredo Neves, on the eastern edge of the popular Castelo neighborhood, this clube is mostly known as a space to host events (large or small) in lush settings. However, my review is for the (lunch) restaurant, which is excellent. It works a little different from the Brazilian lunch typical buffet. Here you choose three base 'components', displayed in small stone containers, and add one meat that is either ready to go (options ranging from a measly R9-R13) or a fish/meat that is prepared to order (e.g., picanha = R19). I had: - rice w broccoli - cooked veggies - feijão tropeiro - alcatra medium rare (ao ponto) Seriously delicious food. Really well prepared. It's not exactly a hole-in-the-wall place, but you wouldn't know it existed unless you are with someone in the know (or read this review:)
