I give them a well deserved score of 10 for all aspects of their service both on the vehicle and with me personally. They had my truck for 4 months while we waited for many parts to become available. This means that my service rep, Lonnie, had to take a lot of phone calls and questions from me - and let me say that he was awesome! He was always available if he was in the shop... the 2 or 3 times that I called and he was not in the shop, he always called me back the next day. This is a great group of people. In August I hit a deer on my road. I drove it home and parked it in my garage and called my…read moreinsurance company the next day! They sent a tow truck out right away and towed it to Crash Champions in East Moline (the old CRC). I had to get a rental and I'd forgotten my garage door open in my car so we swung by crash champions the following day to get it. I noticed it wasn't in their locked up area but it was next to a Jeep Cherokee that was also damaged. And there were cameras on the building. Two weeks later I get a call from Crash Champions saying that my car sounded noisy and they noticed the catalytic convert had been cut out! And that this has never happened to them before! And that I'd need to contact my insurance and submit another claim and the total would be $1700! I said why would I need to pay for it? You should be protecting it while it's in your possession. Conveniently their cameras weren't working to see what or when it happened. I called the East Moline PD to let them know and they weren't surprised as it's happened before. Ugh shocking that Crash Champions said it's never happened before. In order to move on and get my car fixed I had to submit the claim! Finally after a month I got the call and my car was done Friday! I got to pick it up and I'm in the lobby with another customer and the receptionist says 2 claims with zero comp? I said yep I hit a deer and then my catalytic converter was stolen from your lot and the other customer pipes up and says Mine too from here! And the receptionist says it's happened several times before! Then I look at the second claim and its for $2500 not the $1700 they quoted to me! So no matter what the final work looked like how can anyone trust Crash Champions when their out to protect their own pocket book and not their customer's property and then they lied about it never happening before! My rental company told me to leave my rental at Crash Champions and they'd go and pick it up the next day! No way would I leave anything there! I wasn't chancing that catalytic converter being stolen! Bottom Line, they're not trustworthy and there's too much of this stuff going on in todays world! I'll find someone else to take care of any body work my car needs from here on out! Very frustrating! Beware!
