My carpet was installed August 17th. No complaints about the carpet or the installer. He did a great job. I do have a complaint about the sales force and installation scheduler. When given my estimate by the manager in Midwest City (and I had to ask him to come measure and got stood up initially), the rooms being measured were empty of any furniture. When the scheduler called and went over the date and cost, I told him there was no furniture to be moved in the rooms. When the installation was accomplished, the installer said he would tell the store that nothing had to be moved in either room and they should refund the $50 charge. It didn't happen and when trying to contact Budget Floor, their AI on the web page said someone would be contacting me. I addressed this twice and have never heard from anyone. I am really disappointed in the sales force and management. I would not recommend them or use them again. read more

I would recommend ten. Before picking I went to 4 flooring stores and Budget was the cheapest for same carpet! The installers did a good job only one little hiccup and that was they got a small amount on glue on my new carpet! On time and good for the money! read more

My experience was the same as Matthew G review. We ordered vinyl floor. Paid. We ripped out all of our carpet and got a call 6 days later they cannot get the product. We had selected a back up floor that we told we could get in case that one didn't work out and we were told they couldn't get it either. We asked what to do next and were told they didn't know. Thankfully we went to the store right next door with our current floor, found one almost identical, and got it ordered. It was much more pleasant and they cared about finding something that worked since we had already ripped up our carpet. read more

I had an enjoyable experience at Budget. I had long been looking for new flooring for my kitchen and dining rooms. After visiting numerous stores, I decided to go with Budget. The gentleman that helped me, James, was very polite and not pushy with any particular flooring product. After numerous debates, I picked the color I liked and put in my order. It was a special request and took 10 days to arrive. (Which didn't bother me at all.) The flooring did not disappoint and the install was fairly easy for me. For anyone looking for new flooring, I'd definitely give this place a visit. read more

I had them install some carpet twice. The first install went really good and the 2 installers were really good and did an excellent job. So the very next day we paid what we owed and paid for 2 more rooms to have carpet installed. Even though we requested the 2 exact same installers they sent 2 different installers that were the worst installers I have seen. plus they used a carpet cement on my floor that has my house smelling like a chemical. I had windows open for 4 days straight with no luck and tried other things with no luck. Not sure what the smell is doing to me or my wife plus I have a little dog too. I tried to get rid of smell for 3 weeks to no avail and finally told them about it when they reached out about the second half of my payment. It has been a week now since they have known so I reach out today to see if they are going to do anything and I am told the boss is on sabbatical for the next 2 weeks. So I guess they are not going to do anything except threaten me about not paying the second half of my payment. The first time I talked to the boss the only problem that he saw was that I waited 3 weeks to tell them not the problem with his installers. That is ok I have paid them about 2,100 dollars so far but I will not buy anything from them again. read more

in 2015, purchased top of the line pad, medium quality carpet, plus install; and in 2021 time to replace in hall and breezeway because their installers substituted inferior pad tiles, with 6-8 inches spaces between the tiles in hall and breezeway. crummy way to do business. AVOID THIS SO CALLED BUSINESS. read more

I went into the store on Sunday afternoon and worked with Paul. He was very kind and helpful and said that he would push for a quick install. A long time family pet died on the carpet early that morning and it needed to be changed right away. Though the name of the business is Budget, it was twice the price I typically pay, but I was desperate for new carpet and I couldn't wait over a week for Lowe's. I called the store yesterday morning and spoke with the installation scheduler, George. He stated that he understood that we needed the install right away and said that they would be able to do it the next morning (this morning). He called back right away and said that it would be right after lunch instead. At 2:30 pm today I called to ask when they would be here and I was called back by the installer and he said he'd be here in 40 minutes. He arrived at 3:45 pm, over an hour later, and he apologized for being late. His crew was professional, polite, and clean and they helped me move a heavy television back into place once they were finished and they vacuumed the floor. I'm giving the business 4 stars because the price was higher than what we usually spend and the installers took over 2 hours because they spent at least half of the time on their cell phones, which wasted a lot of time. I am happy with my new carpet and I'm pleased that they sent a polite crew. read more

I wish I could give them less than one star. These people have made my building project a living nightmare. They first shipped us the wrong flooring and it took another week for the new flooring to get in. This put us over a week behind in our project. Then we were told there would be a five guy team to do the install and finish in about 4 to 5 days. One guy finally showed up three days after the 'team' was suppose to start installing the floors. We are now on week 4 of install and the floors are STILL NOT DONE!! Currently we are almost 6 weeks behind on our project and all of our other work is being stopped because we can not install anything or move forward with anything until they finish the floor. They have cost me time, money and a ton of headache. I will NEVER be using them again nor will I recommend them to anyone! read more

My experience with tiling a floor at a condo I rent out was completely horrible. They charged me for the tile, ripped the floors out, and then told me they couldn't get the product in. Not one associate bothered to apologize for my inconvenience so I decided to take my business elsewhere. I cancelled my transaction over a week ago and have yet to receive my refund. When I told them I would file a complaint with my credit card company and the BBB Jason Pearson told me "you do what you have to do". The manager Jaret and owner Zach were no help either. They said the refund process was out of their control. How worthless can a leader be? The prices are definitely not worth the hassle you have to go through. read more

Zack Akin is the owner of "Budget Floor Store" 3636 W. Reno, OKC I wanted to return one box of flooring. $40.61 He said it was over 30 days and refused to refund my money. Be aware shoppers that this store manager is not interested in you as a customer. read more

Very well priced and great selection. Jarret is super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

This place put me through hell. The salesman way over promised what their installer would do. The sales man was great at the store and the reason he got the sale was he was the only one who gave us any attention and any floor store in OKC that day. We had to been 2 other stores that day. One was owned by the same person that we purchased from here. We got an arraigned to to get the flooring installed and my wife and I took time off from work to get it done. We had removed all our own carpet and pad and cleaned the floors. We were told the installer would move our furniture except for really heavy things. Well the installer did not move anything. We did it for him. His work ethic was good as he did his job as a paid professional but his attitude was piss poor. Frequent call to the owner and the salesman feel on deaf ears. The installer did miss some stuff and we refused to have him back. The 2nd installer was even more rude. I have never been so elated up front and let down down so far. With any business. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! Or if you do, DO NOT use 'DENNIS' as your salesman! After buying $7,000 worth of flooring from this UNPROFESSIONAL SALESPERSON for my fiancée's home, we were looking for flooring for the new home we were purchasing and were going to buy even more for the home I am currently in to get it ready to sell. We had made up our minds on a Luxury Vinyl floor and after testing it to see if it scratched, came in to talk to DENNIS about looking at more flooring and this jerk went off the deep end, lost his temper, used foul language and tore up the contract in front of us and stomped off when I told him if he didn't want to work with us for whatever reason, we would be glad to talk to another salesperson if he wanted to refer us to someone else! We had told him that we wanted to test the flooring for scratches and used some things to replicate chairs moving, grandkids dropping or scraping toys across it, dog nails, moving appliances over it, etc. and he said "well, what kind of grandparents are you that you would let your grandbabies play with sharp knives or forks or screwdrivers?". He also threw in other insults that I am too much of a Christian gentleman to repeat!! After DENNIS stormed off, we hung around in their EXTREMELY HOT WAREHOUSE to look at other flooring for another 20 minutes (to give him ample opportunity to cool off, take his meds, or whatever he needed to do to cool off and to come back and apologize). HE NEVER CAME BACK TO APOLOGIZE NOR DID HIS MANAGER OR ANOTHER OTHER SALESPERSON EVER COME BACK TO APOLOGIZE FOR DENNIS' RUDE BEHAVIOR!! read more

I paid for wood laminate for 2 of my rooms. As soon as I handed them the money things went south. Paid cash. It was going to be delivered in a week but then got pushed back to two weeks. Then when they delivered they didn't have my whole order (7 boxes short). By this time i was downright fed up. Living on my concrete floors and my wife which works from home not able to set up her office kinda gets to you after almost a month. They said the rest of my order will be delivered in a week. The week came and went and we called only to hear "I have some bad news for you folks. Your order will not be here till April 18th." WHAT?!?! I paid for this IN FULL on Feb. 19th. Two months?? I finally told them I would wait till the 19th but they would have to install my floor now for $1.25 per sq ft. because I was planning to install it myself but it was the least they can do for my troubles. I was going to give them more money for their incompetence. Seems fair right? So I was once again patient. My wife calls a few days before it was supposed to be delivered and for two days was not contacted back. Finally I call them from work and they tell me that it wont be in till May 1st! So finally I went up there again and talked to the manager Jason. Nice guy but not a decision maker. Then I talked to the owner Zack. I told him that now I want a free installation if it comes in on May1st. He said "I can't control shipping" Ok well I can get that in some instances but If he isn't in control of his own buisness then who is? He pays those guys to deliver and ship. they even have Budget Floor on the truck so how is this not his deal? He offered me $250.00 refunded for my troubles. Really?? I have lost wages from being off work to handle them because you can't get anything handled over the phone with them also my wife still can't use her office. The install was going to be $667.00 . He called me back the next day and said he could do $400.00 refund but that is it. So in a sense we are talking about $200 to resolve the problem? He said "what if it doesn't arrive by May first? You are going to want another $200?? This further proves his companys incompetence if he can't even re assure me that the date he JUST GAVE me might not happen. I don't even want the money. I just want it installed since I have no more time off to install it because of their short falls. Every day I took off thinking I was going to be installing flooring costed me $200. Equaling about $1000.00. That is what I have lost already in this deal but I guess his time/money is more valuble than mine? End result is they are coming to get what little material they delivered and bringing my money back. Hence they wasted 2 months of my time and $1000.00 of my income. These guys are running a complete clownshow. They are worse than used car dealers. I highly suggest that you use someone else in your flooring needs. read more
