This place is a busy Thai joint just off Parramatta train station inside Westfield, not Indian as Yelp indicates. We came for lunch and ordered 2 dishes to share, a basil preserved eggs stir fried and a clear veggies soup. The name of the first dish is a little misleading, I thought it only had basil and preserved eggs but when ordering the waitress asked if I wanted to have it with minced chicken or minced pork. It would be nice if the options were listed on the menu. Nevertheless it was quite tasty with lots of minced chicken.
The clear vegetable soup with rice is $9.40, which I thought wasn't very good value for money given the small size and not much variety except carrots, cabbage and broccoli.
The water provided had a strong tab water odor and note that if you wanted a takeaway box you'd need to pay extra $0.50.
Overall if you wanted to have a quick lunch it's probably ok but we may not come back here again as it doesn't stand out much from the unlimited number of Thai restaurants in Sydney. read more
