Southern roofing guided me with support to working with my insurance to get the job done with as little out of pocket as possible. That part took a while to figure out but southern roofing were there at every turn. Once that was settled the materials were delivered and I stalled next day by 5pm. All of the wood needed replacing which was my responsibility and at $100 a sheet was costly but the company worked with me to pay the balance. I would gladly prefer them if ever I needed work done and would recommend them first overall. Very pleased. The work done is beautiful!

I explained the problem, and he said he would contact Moises and call me back with a scheduled appointment time. (I've worked with Moises last year and was very satisfied with his punctuality and expertise.) Juan called me back later that morning and said Moises would be at my house the next day at 10am. Moises arrived on time and found the problem immediately. It seems it was only a minor repair issue due to a nail pop. He gave me a very reasonable estimate for completion of the work and the additional shingles that needed to be replaced. We scheduled the work for the following week. His team arrived, completed the work in less than two hours and cleaned up the property like they were not even there. The team at DRS is professional, competent and hard working. I wouldn't think of contacting anyone else.

I've had two other roofers look at the work and they both agree that the shingles were not installed properly and that shingles should never have been installed on a flat roof. I wanted a metal roof but their salesman said it would be very expensive and that his contact wasn't getting back to him for prices, etc. I needed the work to be done before I left to help my elderly father for a couple of months. When I returned, the rain leaked through my roof and damaged the ceiling plus all my bedding down to my brand new mattress. He takes zero responsibility and is asking that I pay him when we haven't come to any agreement on the issue! I feel like he's trying to intimidate me since I'm a single older woman. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. But his business ethics are totally sketchy. Do not use this company for anything!

The other companies I contacted left me in the dark on a lot of things, if they even responded at all, but not Emmanuel. He advised me every step of the way for getting our roof repaired after Hurricane Ian, along with other existing damage that needed repair. On top of all that, they replaced my entire roof, soffit, and fascia in just one day! The seamless gutters came the next day, now my house (at least from above) looks brand new! Excellent work, great craftsmanship, and you can TELL he takes pride in every project. There was a rafter repair that he didn't like how it was done, so instead of just leaving it like a LOT of contractors would, he came back and made SURE it was done right at no additional cost to me. I'm very happy with this company and they definitely deserve your business. I wish they did more than just roofing, because I'd hire them again for other projects around the home!

I was in need of a quote for a roof repair and since this company had good reviews and was nearby…read moreby my zip code I decided to give them a call. There was a quick response as to when they can come out and inspect. I had a gut feeling when the female rep over the phone had asked how old my roof was that they were planning on trying to sell me a whole roof repair quote. But I gave them a chance and have them inspect and take a look. 2 men pulled up on the driveway and introduced themselves. I allowed them to go ahead and inspect. The inspection took awhile so I knew then they were inspecting the whole roof and not only the problem area I addressed only. When they were done with the inspection the sales manager I believe gave me a folder pamphlet with papers and quotas of 2 price point. He gave me a FULL ROOF REPAIR quote. And not a SPOT REPAIR that I anticipated. He mentioned having the insurance come up to cover costs and also perhaps deal with legal action if insurance do not want to cover. He then mentioned he knows a "legal" person to contact if I needed it. That part of the volunteered info in my opinion I knew I need to find another company to deal with my issue. When I asked him - If he can just fix the issue I need to have fixed he blew it off and had no answer. I knew then this company only deal and want FULL ROOF REPAIRS from customers if not they feel its a waste of time I guess. He stated to me he will email the pictures they took of my whole roof so I can show the insurance company. I NEVER received those photos up to this day. They probably perhaps do good roof work via reviews on here however I think they only deal with FULL ROOF REPAIRS and not partial or spot repairs. I got my roof repaired elsewhere.

When my insurance company said the damage was under my deductible, they then gave me a high estimate to pay out of pocket. I ended up having roof replaced out of pocket with another roofer that was way lower then Bob & Jerry's.
