The Chococino was my favorite item. It was packed with flavor. The service was fantastic. Everyone I encountered was helpful. I didn't have any issues. I ordered the traubleskuchen, which is a traditional cake along with iced coffee. That cake was amazing! I've never had it before so I was really happy to discover something new. It's got currants and meringue and a layer of cake. I loved it! I also bought a box of truffles to take with me and my boyfriend and I enjoyed them very much. If tables outside are free I recommend it as it's great to watch the little town buzz by.

Called a "natural" Bakery by staff with limited English skills, everything made on-site and much of the Grain organic, Bäckerei Brunners is owned by Franz and Gislane Brunner, both second-generation Bakers and the products themselves attesting to both time as well as technique. Cozy but spacious, the sort of space where groups can gather but not disturb those who wish to work or read, fans of Bavarian Pretzels would be wise to check out Brunner's version with browned skin overlying fluffy insides, and for those who favor something sweet yet savory the Cheese and Sesame "Quarktasche" is a brilliant combination amidst Pastry braids. Loads of sugar, kind of hard, not much flavor (other than "sweet" - kind of like how you'd describe rock candy). Loads of bees hanging out on the balls - it felt a little unsanitary (and clearly I should have known how terribly sweet these were with all the bees). Still, I tried because it looked too interesting not to. Don't do it! Not worth the $ or calories.
