Boo! If I could pick zero stars I would. I have called them off and on about once a year for 12 years to fix the vases on my aunt and uncle's grave and it still isn't done. I called them today about putting my aunt's death date on the stone (this is the 2nd call about that) and I was told that unless I can provide the original contract she signed in the 70s it will cost $200! I'm pretty sure they have a copy of that contract or else they wouldn't tell me they'll come to do the vases. Nobody buys a headstone and doesn't pay to have it engraved. Sorry I'm not stupid, I know when I'm being ripped off. All they want is to sell the stones and then wash their hands of you. Also, they couldn't be a ruder bunch. I had the worst experience dealing with Ashland Monument in my hometown of Ashland, Kentucky. It is owned by the same folks who operate Buckeye Monument. It took them SEVERAL months to install a monument (foot stone) to memorialize my beloved mother. Granted, we had a rough winter, but excuses kept being made for months. My mother passed away in October and we have yet to receive a refund check for work we decided to not have done to the headstone. No family should have to go through this after the loss of a loved one. read more
