Called several times. Left messages. I guess they're too busy to return calls. The second time I called, a female recognized my phone number and asked if I had two properties to look at. I answered yes. She transferred me to Randy, who didn't answer his phone. Left another message. Never heard back. Disappointing, I guess they're too busy. I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews here, because they've done a great job with our yard. When we moved here years ago, it was mostly weeds. Hoffman Turf started to turn things around, and Buckeye EcoCare has continued what they started. Before this awful drought took its toll, we finally had a thick, green, gorgeous lawn. Buckeye does a great job. I just spent 15 minutes talking to their rep before he applied my yard. My yard never looked better. Also like they use dry fertilizer. Their cost is about the same as others but you get detailed customer service which is a plus. read more

My yard looks worse!!! Hoffman Turf did my grass last year, and they did a good job. Prior to March 2023, I received a letter from Hoffman Turf explaining that they were growing and unable to do my yard, but they had partnered with Buckeye Ecocare. Therefore, I didn't choose to do business with this company, but because the previous company had recommended them, I assumed they would perform just as well. My yard looks worse. Buckeye Ecocare did the first two rounds of treatment, and I did everything I needed to do to assist the treatment in making my yard grow. My Ring doorbell picked up their movement on the first two rounds. So, I paid the bill, thinking I would get results. They claimed to have done two more treatments, and this time, my trampoline had not been moved, treatment was not on any of my grass, and the Ring did not register any movement. I am not pleased with the results, and my yard does not even remotely look like they administered any treatments. They sent me another bill, and I have not paid them anything because I don't believe they did anything the last two times. read more

They don't deserve a 1 star. They treated my lawn for a type of bent grass and were suppose to split seed afterward. They never did the split seed. I called them 5 times to see when they were going to get it done, they would connect me to Gregs voicemail and I have never received a call back! My yard looks awful now. NO show for estimate many times. They give no explanation and are combative when you ask them why they didn't show up. There are much better companies out there that want to treat new customers right. this guy has a chip on his shoulder for some UNKNOWN reason!!! read more

I believed I spoke with some tech named Jason Or Jerad R. The guy said he would be out on Monday. I left him a message in the morning and he never called back or reached out. I'm a new customer so I cancelled the service before they had a chance to come out. It's too bad because now I'm going to use TrueGreen, who is also charging me half the price for my first visit. read more

They came out to treat some time ago and I have tried repeatedly to contact them regarding all the weeds still in my yard. I have tried for weeks with no response. I called again this morning and I was told I would have to leave yet another message. The service is the worst and looking at my yard the treatment was just as bad. I would definitely look elsewhere for lawn treatment. read more

Like the other reviewer they were supposed to slice seed my yard instead they drop seeded. I paid over $2200 for top dressing and slice seeding. I reserved their service in October and prepaid in January. That was my first mistake since I prepaid they bumped me down in priority and did not come work until late may. The blamed it on the wet spring but we had well over 3 weeks of beautiful weather and only came out after I threatened a refund. Of course it downpours days later washing away their seeding (if they would have seeded when they were supposed to it would have been established by then). Also, as stated above drop seeded. They said they would reseed but I never heard from them until I called in august. They finally came out in September and slice seeded which after procrastinating for weeks, it rained again washing away all seed. They said they would come to check it out but I never saw or heard from them again, almost two years later. One star is too high for this bunch of crooks. read more

Buyer beware, of the small print, or in my case large winter print. I have never seen a bill from a landscape business stating " For your convience, service continues from season to season..." Imagine my surprise when I had a bill for over $300, for a treatment I did not need. I had already hired another company who completed the tree care! Needless to say, I was upset and called the company. I was reminded of the statement on my bill from last year and the reminder I received in the winter (I just saw the information for paying now and save money ... There apparently was large print on that reminder, that I somehow missed). I asked for the service to be terminated! read more

I would never use this company. They try and call their estimate a contract and don't point out the small print which has no asterisks but they enforce it. They say this statement gives them the right to continue service even though my estimate stated specifically the services that I wanted bid. We never had a service contract. I am taking this company to smalls claim court. Also the service they said they did they never did. There was no sign in my yard that they provided treatment. Beware because the onus is on you to prove not them. Also, I had grass replaced in areas and they ensured me that could match it but it doesn't match at all. So, I'm going to have to pay to have my whole yard done now. The only thing that did work last year was the weed/feed treatment but I know they didn't do it this year as they billed me because my yard had weeds until I went out and did my own weed and feed in June. This business has no integrity. I contacted them upon getting a bill and the woman who answers speaks to you in such a trashy and unprofessional manner. All around awful experience for me will never recommend them and will continue to let everyone in this area know my experience. I'll post an update on the small claims action. read more
