Not only is Pertusini a book binding business (antique books would appear to be very well taken care of here from what I witnessed), but also an excellent frame shop. I found both the choice of product and depth of consultation to be top-notch. My print was framed perfectly and looked just as I had hoped it would.
The service was both friendly and professional, and, to top it off, I was greeted upon my return visit one week later with surname, as in 'Gruezi, Frau...' Wowzers.
Second trip 15.11.14--the gal who'd so ably helped me the first time 'round wasn't there, sadly. -still received goods, if a little less expert, service. The final product wasn't exactly what had been agreed upon, in terms of frame style. Also, there was a bit of damage to one of the frame corners. One can't see the marred bits when the picture is hanging, so, frankly, it's not worth it to me to return and have the art re-worked.
My quibble would be that the customer be shown the final product, unwrapped, before art is taken home. I understand that orders are wrapped up 'to-go' for an easy end-transaction, but, perhaps, one could still be shown the final product by having the staff open the plastic covering and showing finished frame job to client. read more
