Every day he came home full of excitement, stories, and new things he'd learned -- from creative crafts to outdoor adventures. It was clear how much fun he was having and how safe and supported he felt. The staff were incredible -- patient, energetic, and truly engaged with the kids. We were so impressed by the thought and care put into every activity. Elliott made new friends, tried new things, and came home MORE CONFIDENT and happy each day. We're so grateful for this camp and can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you for creating such a positive and unforgettable summer for our child!

The owners and staff were very reassuring throughout his transition. I absolutely love that they give daily progress reports for things that he's done and eaten for the day which was different from his previous daycare. Even with him being 2 he's learning and progressing ahead of his age group. What I appreciated most about the staff and owners is their love and care for my son. When he came down with a respiratory infection they checked on him daily to ensure he was okay. I am elated to see other parents walking out happily with their children as well. Mrs. Vanessa and Chanelle (the owners) are HEAVEN SENT! I also get cute little pictures of him while he's there for those mommies that have separation anxiety

Due to our busy work schedule, most daycare centers' hours just won't work for us. We were almost desperate until we found Gloworm, what a jewel in the rough! It would stay open till 8PM during week days and open on weekends as well. You can purchase 50-hour full-time package or 30-hour part-time package, and they would charge you based by the hours your kid stays there. For any unused hours during week days, you can use them during weekends for errands or shoppings in nearby malls. All the teachers are loving and sincerely care about my son. They arranged all sorts of activities during the day so the kids can learn and grow. My son always said that he had so much fun at Gloworm and made friends with kids of all ages because they have group session with everybody participating! We also send our 9-year old son during summer and he enjoys Gloworm as well much to our surprise. He would draw, cook, play sports and games during his stay there, and he loves the teachers and facilities there as well. One thing I really like Gloworm is that they will send multiple photos and videos everyday through Tadpoles and emails so I can see my kids grow and have fun everyday while I am away. Lots of great memories captured! I would highly recommend any parents who want flexibility in their schedule and love environment for their kids. They will have great fun and experience there!

The director is such a kind hearted person and it is reflected in how she and her staff interact with the kid. They are a smaller center. For us that translated to a warm family feel. Out so. Thrived here, developed great social skills and a love of learning. They truly felt like family! As a parent that is the goal of these early years. We had just moved into the city when we sent our younger son to Milestones. At the time we sent our older son to a local private school for Pre-K (thinking we needed to "get him in early"). In hindsight, he didn't need academic structure and rigor at age 4, he needed to feel secure, cared for and loved....knowing what I know now, I would have had him sent him to Milestones for one year of PreK while his little brother was in the 18 mo old group. For us Milestones gave us piece of mind everyday we dropped our son off...it truly felt like an extension of home!

The learning program they have and follow is amazing. My son thrives here and loves his teachers and the friends he has made along the way. I know when I drop him off, he is in good hands. They communicate well with the parents and offer multiple fun activities that the kids can participate in "outside" of the daycare (i.e. Gym Bus, Happy Feet, etc.). When my husband and I moved this past year, a big part of our location was so that our son could still attend Hartwood. If you are looking for a daycare that helps your child learn, grow and feel apart of something, I promise you won't be disappointed!!

However, the last two years were awful, staff turn…read moreover was huge, and often times you were not aware of the staff turn over until you dropped off or picked-up your child. Everything costs you extra. If you want your kid to make a craft, it costs extra. By the end of I was paying so much for crafts and extra activities so that my kiddo wouldn't' feel left out or bored. They charge a RIDICLIOUS about for "summer camp". So, on top of your weekly child care costs, craft costs, you also have to pay an additional $300-$400 at the beginning of summer. The "summer camp" activities are nothing special and the kids don't get out in the community at all, everything is held within the school. There are many centers in the area that are offering "camps" without additional fees on top of your weekly child care costs. When I left, weekly rate for a pre-k 4 classroom was $338 a week, plus the cost of phonics or craft activities.

Although nervous about the transition of our then 1 year old son to a new daycare, I couldn't be more happy and satisfied with our experience at Goddard. The staff is friendly, caring and professional. The owner is very helpful and takes the time to get to know the kids. We noticed a few weeks in that are son was doing much better here then at the previous daycare. The owner and staff seems to genuinely care and be concerned about the well-being of the kids. Only after placing him at Goddard did I realize they have an educational criteria which is a bonus in my opinion. My only "warning" is that they have more days that they are closed then KinderCare. They are closed for a week during Christmas and have few other days that are closed which aren't always days off at most companies. It's run more like a school. Luckily my husband has flexibility with his schedule so we manage. But the quality of care and facilities is worth this occasional inconvenience. Also you have to pack/provide lunch for your child where as at KinderCare they provided the meals. Goddard provides the am and pm snack. Now that I'm used to packing our son's lunch this difference is a non-issue.

Shout out to the infant teachers who have really raised two happy happy happy boys in those difficult months- both developmentally and mentally for me! Rose, Tia and Poli are the best! My toddler is always smiling on drop off with Janelle and Tracy. I have a demanding career in healthcare (what a time!!), and I know everyday they are so well taken care of and loved! The kids are thriving and LOVE coming to school. They are also so tired at the end of the day from the physical and educational stimulation that they sleep 12 hours straight (always helps!). I guess the only negative would be that the location might not be convenient for the work from home'rs, but I would recommend all my friends to this childcare without any hesitation, esp if it is convenient! Plus; they have an enclosed playground right on the square! Kids LOVE!

She kind of had a serious tone and wasn't helpful with giving me payment options and asking if I could afford it or not. She was very blunt about telling me the registration fee. It sucks because kindercare has a great reputation and I want the best for my child but I do not want to have another interaction like that again with the director.
