I met Dave 55 years ago while I was the leader of a band named 'The Torkays'. And through that I met Dave at Cypress Recording Studios. In the early 60s we were the first band to record there. Dave and his unique sound programming allowed for our record to be noticed by the radio stations around the state. With his dedicated work ethic and knowledge of the music industry, Dave is a top notch studio that will never disappoint. This is what led me to revisiting Dave 50 years later when I attempted to find an original copy of my record.

The folks at 3Ball Productions said to be sure to make it fun and interesting so that I would stand out during my 'contestant pitch' to NBC. Well needless to say, I was clueless on how to move forward. It was then that I called the phenomenal Christina of In Motion Video Productions and she spent several hours filming and directing me to an audition-worthy DVD submission! She completely went out of her way to spend this time with me, (on short notice I might add). Then, Christina spent many hours into the night doing post production work editing the video so that I wouldn't lose the producers immediate interest. I was so appreciative of her assistance and hard work on my behalf. This loyal, concern-for-the-customer mentality is the underlying mantra of In Motion Video and Productions. These folks are incredibly professional, will do anything to get a great shot and the post production work is completely television worthy! Check out their website to see what I am talking about. Really, really beautiful stuff. **Side note: Yes, the DVD was extremely impressive, and the 2nd one on one camera audition happened. But, in a paradoxical twist of fate, Christina's video must have made me look TOOOOO good on camera, as NBC said that this Plus-Sized Foodie was indeed too skinny for the show! ....Well, that's MY story anyway and I'm stickin' to it! (Wink!) I highly recommend this company for any type of video needs. They seem to be open for any kind of project and I just cannot say enough about their professionalism. This is a true studio in every sense of the word. Lights, camera, action! Or maybe "no action", just look pretty.. Anyway, I got to chat with Matt Aponte, the owner, for a while and found out that not only is portrait in his bag of tricks but also, wedding, event, fashion and modeling. What a neat guy, he seemed to know his stuff, his portfolio is impressive and he is good looking enough to just want to hang out and talk to so you can admire him. heehee When in need of a photographer, I will call him!
