LILYDALE STORE - Yesterday, I ordered online - a Pepperoni and a Roman with extra cheese. I was running errands at the time and arrived at the store in about 30 minutes after placing the order. As expected, the pizzas were sitting on top of the oven keeping warm. When I arrived home, I saw that both pizzas were quite burnt. I called them up to ask what happened to them, as their pizzas are usually okay. A woman answered and said that because I was late picking them up, they reheated them, so as not to 'deliver cold'. I asked why they just didn't leave them at the top of the stove to keep warm, instead of putting them back in the oven? She then changed the explanation to say they were just put on the top of the oven (which wasn't true - the pizzas were burnt on top as well as underneath - they'd clearly been put back through the oven). Anyway, she kindly offered replacements, and asked me to call up when ready. I did so today, and asked for "A Pepperoni and a Roman with extra cheese." She said "No" to the extra cheese. I reminded her of my original order and she said "There was no extra cheese," to which I replied "I paid for extra cheese, and you didn't put it on??" She repeated there was no extra cheese, and when I asked her to check my original order, she changed her mind. I replied to that and said "But you just told me you didn't put the extra cheese on yesterday?" I'm just gob-smacked at their business practice.
