Situated right across Jordbærpikene (reviewed earlier), Kafka is in my opinion a slightly more…read moreaffordable cafe with a diner-like interior that I think has been recently refurbished. Seems to me like it keeps being improved, or at least well maintained in between my visits.
My favourites here include the Kafka "spesial" sandwich, ham and cheese salad, and jacket potato. From time to time they also do a delicious and cheap (!) French onion soup, yum!
The club sandwich has somehow shrunk in size though, which is kind of disappointing because I really liked the abundance of potato wedges that used to come as a side- now you only get a few, which consequently brings out my *sadface* :(
The coffee isn't bad; the baristas do a good job! Today my cappuccino was full of frothy foam which I was very happy about (as this has not been quite the case in the past..)
