Shoot with BWP Inc - Bryan Ward
I called Bryan to inquire about a possible photo shoot. I have looked at his web site and wasn't sure if I needed the the Elite or Glamour portfolio, so I liked that he took the time to explain the difference to me and honestly suggested I go with Glamour considering what I needed from the shoot. We agreed on the date and I showed up at the studio at 9.30am on Monday warmly greeted by Bryan. He also offered me a cup of home made cappuccino, which was very sweet of him. After Bryan, the make up artist Ellen, and I had a short yet meaningful discussion about the looks and make up, Ellen started working on me. She is very pleasant to work with and really knows what she is doing. I loved the end result and took her business card in case I need a make up artist again - something I was always skeptical about.
The photo shoot itself lasted a few hours, but because Bryan is so easy going and has a cheerful personality, I didn't feel tired from it. We went through 7 different looks and I really liked how he matched my outfits to the background color wise. He was also helpful with the props. His directions on poses were clear and even though most of the poses felt unusual for my body, I was pleasantly surprised how good I looked when he showed me the images on the camera screen.
I got all images 3 days after the shoot and am very very happy with them. I love the lighting (even my not so new leather outfit looked crisp and glamorous!), the fact that there was no photo shop done on the pictures because it simply wasn't needed - just as I had requested, and his choices of poses. Bryan has an eye for the feminine beauty and sees more than I actually do LOL.
In short: professional, considerate, honest, easy going, great great great lighting techniques, sharp eye for the best lines of the female body, and just an inspiring artist to be around. At the end, I felt like I'd made a new friend. I will definitely be back for more pictures! read more
